I would give 5 stars for most of the staff... However my recent experience (1/15/25)was extremely off putting. I purchased a thermometer for my client. Before leaving the parking lot I was informed that it wasn't needed. I went in to return it and the young lady named Sara said it can't be returned because is a medical device. I asked for management and she declined saying they couldn't help either. I personally went to find a manager and Yetta easily was able to return the thermometer. Apon leaving I was informed by the person I was with that they did not get along with Sara from past issues and now I feel she definitely intentionally put up a barriers on purpose. Very sophomoric and not good customer service.

You say you are open until 9:00pm but show up at 8:30 pm. and lights are off and doors are locked very unhappy with that!

Very rude pharmacy tech. I hate to see them so backed up but the attitude wasn't necessary. I just wanted my antibiotics because I wasn't feeling well. Also, the store looks horrible. So many empty shelves and things strewn all throughout the aisles.

It took almost 4 hours after my Rx was received by Walgreens for them to fill it. I am very disappointed in this delay in receiving a post-surgical RX for pain medication.

Some changes happened at some point that caused the pharmacy experience at this Walgreens to be suddenly terrible and poor at communicating. Is it a system or staff change? Who knows.
On the last attempt to get medicine, sent, the pharmacy just didn't fill it until I called them to ask where it was.
Let's give some context. I went to urgent care to get a prescription for antivirals. Very common one. Got a text saying they'll fill that + a topical ointment. Great. Cue waiting all day. No update for hours until it's around 6-7pm and I decide something must be wrong. Call the pharmacy. On hold for nearly 40 mins.
Call picks up. Confirm that I have two drugs waiting, one of which I'm told they'd need to have mailed in but it's also available OTC. Great. Wish you told me it's OTC and that the first antiviral, which, is time sensitive, was always available. Get it filled before the pharmacy closes. Again, in the past, they normally let me know if something isn't in stock or cannot be filled.
Weird but sometimes places are just busy.
couple of days after, I need to get another medicine scrip filled. Same deal; waited a full day. Went to the pharmacy in person the day after next and they said it should have been available this whole time.
I don't know why I need to personally go and confirm every drug I get sent to the pharmacy here before it even begins getting filled but I'm going to try my luck with CVS next. This isn't acceptable, especially for the former case but for an overall experience it completely sucks. This isn't even counting not getting an update on another set of drugs that they couldn't fill for 90 days and didn't bother telling us it's not allowed to be filled for such a span of time anymore.

No public restroom? Now that’s some hospitality! It’s hardly a scary location. I’m glad I was with a friend and don’t get meds through Walgreens.

I just want to start off by saying I'm giving the five stars because of the employee Daniel working in the back of the pharmacy he's doing a job very good job nice guy super respectful but the pharmacist herself telling me that my it might be a problem my insurance might get cut off because I'm paying out-of-pocket for my meds not trying to fill my medications I'm never using your guys's pharmacy again she made it seem like it was a hassle to fill my meds

Called the store to see if they had Enfamil Gentlease & they had one large can left. They held it for me until I got there & even wrote my name on the can! Thank you so much!

Terrible service, I placed an order a day before and picked it up almost 16 hours after the purchase and they still hadn’t picked up my order and I had to wait a long time

I go out of my way to apply to this pharmacy position after months of struggling to try to find a good decent job apply to and this Position has always been my dream. I saw this position opened and thought to myself it’s never really open, I immediately apply I have hope, I get interviewed by this individual with huge gauges in her ears then I get rejected. I call the store since I have been trying for years to get this position. I honestly feel like they rejected me off my appearance, my hair, how about the white lady with the gauges ?! This place is not diverse just because you only have one black worker who works there it isn’t enough. I call the store to ask is it a competitive position & what I can do different next time & then there this other white women who says to me who I guess was the pharmacist today “ that’s inappropriate” clearly very privileged who never in her day struggled in her life & seems to live a privileged comfortable life is completely oblivious as she was speaking to me on the phone as she said those words to me. I got triggered & remember’d all the messed up & tone deff things white individuals said to me continuing & always blocking young people of color of trying to prosper. My voice broke but I did stick up for myself & I’m proud of myself for doing that instead of just letting it pass like how I used to. Why do white people do that and speak to people of color like that as if you were trying to put me in my place? When all I was just trying to see and ask how I could be better. Now I have no interest in this Position ever in my life. I’m never comeing back to this store again or even picking up any meds from here. I have great experiences not only from my community but also the city of Minneapolis & I don’t need to prove myself to people who clearly out of touch.
