I needed an odd-looking part to fix a wheel for an uncommon cart. Simple but not something available just anywhere let alone recognized by just anyone. Ace Hardware was recommended as the place to go - it totally was! Experience and a willingness to spend the time to find the little part, to fit it to my cart, and send me on my way - all for a 33-cent sale. Local ownership, personal attention, and a desire to serve! Now my go-to and my recommendation. 100% satisfied!

After inadvertently dropping a heavy glass jar in our kitchen sink I was horrified to discover a wide chip in the bone porcelain enamel. I went to three different big box stores. No help. On line shopping. Nothing in bone. Only white. After MANY phone calls found Tommy at the Ace on West 98th in Bloomington. Even though the store was very busy Tommy took the time to research the manufacturer and discovered the color bone is discontinued and the new color is sold as almond bisque. Tommy ordered the almond bisque and explained how to use epoxy in combination with the cover up. Tommy and the staff went above and beyond on a very busy Friday, October 6 afternoon. Picked up my order Wednesday, October 11. The West 98th Ace in Bloomington really is the place with the helpful hardware man. Thanks, Tommy!
