Initial repairs were quoted at $910. Once these repairs were complete, they called stating there was another issue. The next day I received a voicemail stating that they had completed further repairs and that the total was $1200. I had not authorized more repairs. Given that this car is older, I had decided if the repair was going to be over $1k, I would start looking into selling it as-is rather than dumping more money into it. When I questioned the added repairs, they removed the $40 credit card fee.
To be fair, I think they were just trying to get the car fixed quickly for me, and everyone I spoke with seemed knowledgeable, but I would have appreciated them getting my approval as the total was nearly $300 more than I had been quoted.

Wasn’t the most friendly initial meeting for work but the manager warmed up, provided updates on work and certainly it was much more price friendly than a dealership. I would definitely come back.

Seemed like a dishonest mechanic. They claimed my radiator was leaking, that my entire power steering system was leaking and needed replacement as well as a sticky brake caliper. I was ball parked $2K. I replaced the power steering line myself and the thermostat housing gasket myself for 2 hours of labor and $60 in parts and had no issues. I did my brakes later and didn't have issues for 2 years following.

Worst experience I've ever had with an auto repair shop, I brought my mustang in about 7 months ago to get a battery light fixed and the alternator replaced, after paying that 5 minutes later the light was back on and they said they couldn't do anything about it and wouldn't even check the alternator they had put in. I just brought it back in for the same battery light because it had started coming on more frequently and all of the sudden the alternator they gave me was faulty, replaced that with the warranty and charged me for other things "wrong" with the car regarding the battery light, again 5 minutes later the light came back on so I brought it back and they said they wouldn't do anymore work on the car after spending $2500 trying to fix the battery problem already and all the work they had done so far was with other "problems" causing the battery light to be on. All that just to be told to bring it to a ford dealership and they wouldn't even check over the work they done repeating the process my first time working with them. Why am I paying for the work to be done if its not going to fix the whole problem? I made it 2 miles down the road before the light was back on so nothing was even done to make sure anything was fixed. Crazy experience
