We had breakfast for our group of 5. Choices included the fried egg sandwich-garlic aioli on English muffin bread, the waffle with candied walnuts, berries and whipped cream and the Cedar Stone breakfast which included bacon, eggs, potatoes and fruit. Service was very good. Wait staff very polite, and food was very good. Everyone was pleased.Parking: The restaurant was at the mall of America which has free parking on site.

Our server was not the least bit friendly. Acted like we were an imposition the entire meal. Have had great servers here in the past; was very disappointing, to see the least. Won't be dining here anytime in the near future.

Went this morning for brunch.... Ellen our server realized it was my son's 5th birthday, and made him feel so special. My son told me multiple times how special they made him feel on his birthday. It meant so much to see them make him feel so special and how it made his day and birthday that random people cared about him that much. On top of the amazing service, the food was also amazing. Ellen helped us make the great food choices we made. Her staff and supervisor complimented her great service also. I'm local and will be back for brunch more often because of how awesome the staff was the morning of March 9th. See you soon for more great food and service! Thanks again for making my son's birthday special!

We came here for date night! The mood was romantic.Awesome lighting!The decor is elegant and comfortable. I ordered the braised short rib with white cheddar grits.The short rib was made well.The sauce was flavorful..so much that if this wasn't fine dining.I might have licked the plate.My wife ordered the Minnesota Wild Rice Soup.She was very happy and I agreed that this was one of the best wild rice soups I've had at a restaurant in a long time. We saved room for desert and tried the butter scotch bread pudding.We were not happy with the pudding.It seemed more like French toast.Really light and airy.Bread pudding in my opinion should be dense. The service was definitely top notch.Our server Daniel knows how to treat his customers.He didn't annoy us by checking in too much and made conversation when he could and it was good conversation...not fluff. We definitely want to come back and try some of the other menu items pointed out by Daniel.Cedar +Stones location at the JW Marriott Mall of America is a plus for me.I will be back!

Braised short rib is bussin bussin . The short rib was tender. The red wine reduction was made the braised beef complete.it came with white cheddar grits and it was and tasty.full of flavor.Ill be back!

Man, talk about trying to drive your customers away for any repeat business.. Stopped at the bar first for a drink before dinner. I ordered a Blanton's Bourbon on the rocks. My wife orders a glass of red wine. We get another glass of Red and a double of the Bourbon to take to our table.. You charge $36 for a single and $72 for my double bourbon. This is for a $40 bottle of Bourbon.. 2oz for $36??? This is absolutely 100% a rip off.. The red wine my wife drank. $23 a glass and this bottle is only $25 locally.. Your food was good but I'll never be back.. Absolute rip off.

Hidden Gem!! We enjoyed every moment of our dining experience at Cedar + Stone, Urban Table! From the 5-star service by Raven to our attentive, kind server Amy and the poised gentlemen who assisted her to the gorgeous aesthetics and deliciously crafted appetizers, entrees & dessert! We’ve dined out a lot during our first couple’s getaway in Bloomington this week & this has been by far our most enjoyable & most memorable dining experience❣️Can’t wait to return - hopefully we can fit in another visit before we fly home! We highly recommend the flavorful & beautifully-plated pork chop & veggies, the shrimp & grits, brussels sprouts and the incredible-tasting, unique bread pudding w/fresh fruit! Wow & wow!!????

I showed up at 3:50 lunch on a layover. I was offered a choice of a seat in the bar or the restaurant and I chose the bar. I was also offered a choice of the lunch menu, which was ending at four in the dinner menu. I appreciated the opportunity to order from either. There was only one other patron at the time, and he left shortly after I sat down. The bartender was friendly and helpful, But not overly attentive, given the fact that I was the only customer at the moment. I ordered the Minnesota wild rice soup, which was excellent. The Revol Farm salad was not only delicious to eat, but very pleasing to the eye. It was a nice portion size and complemented the soup. I added buttered garlic prawns, and while they were tasty, they were slightly over cooked. Since this was to be my only meal of the day, I decided to order dessert, and on the recommendation of the bartender/waiter I opted for the butterscotch bread pudding. I am not really a fan of butterscotch nor bread pudding, but I am so thankful I ordered this delightful dessert. I actually groaned audibly more than once, as I devoured this perfect sweet treat! It took everything I had to not actually lick the plate. My entire meal came to just over $60 with only water to drink. The food was excellent, the service was fantastic. I will definitely eat here again on my next layover! Apparently they won second place this year for best JW Marriott hotel restaurant. Well deserved!

Excellent service and food! Enjoyed the crispy brussel sprouts first before diving into a ginormous burger. Definitely enjoyed the spiced sangria!

The vibe and menu look pretty good, and the service was attentive and swift. The food was what you would expect from a hotel (though the concept and website might me think it would be a step up - it wasn't) which is to say, not very good. THe fact that bread service was an additional $9 made me think we might be getting some kind of fresh parker house rolls. But no, they were very average, like the kind of frozen dinner rolls you would buy in a supermarket. And as soon as they cooled down to room temperature they were hard - which tells me they were stale before and just refreshed. The salad with maple dressing was good, the chicken was ok. Green beans were plain, I mean, so plain - no butter, or salt. Like, Delmonte out of a can bland. What was sad about this is that I am staying in Northfield and there are no restaurants there, so I drove 30+ miles for this dinner. I would say this restaurant should be the choice of JW Marriott guests who don't have the energy to walk through the mall and find another - literally, ANY other - restaurant.

The food was on point, despite it being a very busy Valentines Day. The carrots in particular were outstanding. I had no complaints, I ordered fries, chicken wings, carrots, kale salad, and the dinner rolls appetizer. My lady ordered the short rib with mashed potatoes and demi glace, she loved it. The service was outstanding as well. Overall it was quite spendy, but worth the cost for a special occasion. Sidenote if you enjoy a libation, they have an extensive alcohol menu.

Good was excellent and the service was very attentive without being too attentive. There was a large part of the far side of the restaurant that made dinner a bit noisy at first. We will definitely return as the shrimp and grits became a favorite at the table. The Brussels sprouts were also wildly good. The salmon was also very good.

I have eaten here several times, and it never disappoints. I was most impressed this time by the customer service I received from the chef regarding my daughter's food allergy. Well done!

We came here for brunch, and it really was not good. The prices are high, and the food is basically flavorless. If you do decide to go here, I would suggest the waffles or pancakes. Everything else was just not good. The server also forgot two things that we ordered, but we really didn't care because the other food was so bad. Absolutely do not recommend this place.
