Hobby Lobby has a lot of nice things, and they are not real expensive. This store is a good store. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because they have limited all of their watercolor paints and papers to their own brand. In the past, they carried several really good quality professional watercolor paints and paper. I bought a tube of paint to see what the quality is like, but I have a hard time believing that it would live up to the professional watercolor tube paints that have been manufactured for decades and centuries. Other than that, it's a great store. Hobby Lobby also always has good sales. I do recommend this store for decor, lightweight furniture, seasonal and holiday items, and many more things. This is a good Hobby Lobby! 😀

Hobby Lobby has something for everyone. If you are looking for the perfect decorative gift or something for your own space, Hobby Lobby will certainly have a plethora of options. If you want to cast, paint, sew, weave, or knit it, you will have no trouble finding it. There are so many opportunities to enhance how you express yourself that you may never have thought of. They are not fond of black people here. I am a crafty person and I love coming here for my fashion/ art supplies. But boy! Every time I walk in it seems like everyone’s ready to page security. I dress a certain way that by no means is intimidating, but definitely out of the box. But I am also a fashion student. And car guy. This place has all my necessities. It’s just sad that when I come here my white and Hispanic counterparts who work here do not seem to be too fond of my presence. They mostly would just side eye me or pop up in almost any aisle I’m in; which is sad because I’m very kind, yes I’m black, but I’m not aggressive and i also work in the service industry and have for 12 years, so I know what a welcoming environment is. This isn’t one, but, you guys have what I need. Sucks that people are so prejudice in a state that promotes equality and diversity.

Shopped here today and there were only about 3 people waiting to check out so I figured I would be out in no time. The two cashiers were both having trouble with prices and returns and taking such a long time to figure things out. During this time, the lines started to grow. Eventually, after about 10 minutes with no forward movement, one staff member put out a call for another cashier to come to the front. Once they did, I moved over to that line, behind someone else. The person in front had just a couple items but was paying cash - this seemed to stress out the cashier as she didn't have enough change and she just looked vaguely around the store for someone to help her. After another 5 minutes, someone went and got her some change. She then proceeded to spend another few minutes counting out the cash over and over again to the customer. Finally, it was my turn and I had 6 items all exactly the same. She kept turning over each item to look at the label then said she couldn't read the price! It was clearly visible. She finally managed to read one and then rang them up extremely slowly. This is the same issue I have every time I shop here - I find my items quickly enough but checkout always takes at least 20 minutes, and longer if they are busy. If they would just use barcodes on their items it would speed things up a huge amount. I have a similar issue if I need to return anything - they manually key in a long code for each individual item and it takes forever. Love the items here but will always buy elsewhere if I can, purely due to the amount of time it takes to check out.

Hard to find stuff unless you know your way around. Almost impossible to find help, but when you do encounter staff they are usually nice.

They were in the middle of a major refresh which is the only reason they got a 4 star. The hundreds (literally) of other people in the store seemed to like the price and selection too.

Over an hour to check out? Is this how it always is, because that’s ridiculous. Spent 15 minutes shopping for 5 items and might as well have just ordered online while waiting to checkout. Definitely would not recommend coming here during holiday season unless you like to stand in lines.

I had one of the worst experience dealing with the front cashier lady and the older guy working there. They were very unprofessional and mean to me. The guy even said "because you didn't buy anything and are leaving out the door we can't help you no more so you should leave". I don't know if they both were racist but their service to me was not good at all. All I wanted was the price of a clearance clock that had no price tag and when I asked them they didn't give me the right price or tell me what the discounted price was and was again very rude to me. It was my first time to this location and I will not be coming here anymore and they have lost a good customer.

Well stocked with orderly shelves and fine products in good shape.
I've been there a lot and buy many things throughout the year. The only thing that needs improvement is a friendly staff at checkout. They always seem exhausted and they seldom have a smile or a "thank you" in them!
