The room wasn’t the nicest but adequate. Used the airport shuttle service and it took forever to get picked up when we returned. They don’t want you to call until after you get your bags which adds to the delay. They told us the wait would be 25-30 minutes which turned into an hour.

Wonderful hotel with GREAT front desk employees! Every one of them were helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The shuttle drivers were kind and helpful, also. This hotel stay made my trip to Texas even better, as I could leave my car, have a really good complimentary breakfast, and be shuttled to and from the airport. I won't stay anywhere else when I'm in "The Cities".

Rooms were neat and clean, the daily breakfast offers a good variety to choose from. We have family in the area, so the G-kids came and we all used the pool. A good time was had by all.

We had a really good experience staying here, using their park and fly rate to fly out of MSP. The employees were very professional and accommodating upon check-in and our shuttle driver. We arrived back at MSP after the shuttle was already done for the day (midnight). Michael reimbursed our Lyft cost as a result. Thank you!Noteworthy details: Airport shuttle 4am- midnight

Great place to stay, great service! The only downside is that they don’t have hot chocolate, but the staff were super nice.Rooms: Clean!Nearby activities: Super nice spot! Not too far from Mall of American and the airport- but not too close either.Food & drinks: Great breakfast, like always for a holiday inn

I stayed here while on business and I thought it was great! The location is nice and not far from much. Having a Trader Joe's across the street was really nice. The staff was good and the rooms were what I expected. Overall good stay!

Stayed here for four nights. I stay in a lot of hotels, and this was one of the most comfortable beds I've had. Breakfast was also great with three steam tables, so each morning offered eggs, egg whites, turkey sausage, pork sausage or bacon, and biscuits and gravy in addition to all the other shelf stable stuff hotels have for breakfast. Also used the pool twice. Very nice facility.

The guy at check in wasn’t pleasant at all. Our first assignment room the keys didn’t work. Had to go twice to get reassigned to another room. This time the keys worked but when we returned after dinner only one worked. Very frustrating when trying to carry a toddler and bags and have to go downstairs multiple times. The rooms are extremely dated and smell. They seemed to be cleaned but again the carpet and amenities are very old and have a smell to them. Needs to be updated. Location is nice. Some shopping and Perkins in the walking distance. Highway is loud. Thank goodness for a sound machine. Also hallways are loud.I wouldn’t stay again even being a member. Too many other similar priced options in the near vicinity

We spent one night at this hotel over the weekend. Pros: Breakfast spread was above average in the variety of breakfast items as well as taste. It consisted of breakfast sausages and patties, mini omelettes, scrambled eggs, yogurt cups, warm biscuits, and gravy, oatmeal, warm cinnamon rolls, muffins, fresh fruit, and make-your-own pancakes with a push of a button. My kids loved the extra pancake condiments (whipped cream, mini chocolate chips, blue berries, fresh strawberry topping).Hotel had lots of families with young children. Swimming pool was on the smaller side, but it was heated and seemed to be a newer addition to the hotel. Beds were comfortable and our double queen bedroom was spacious. Given the number of families and kids staying at the hotel, we didn't hear any hallway noise or our neighbors at all during the night. Shower pressure was good. Hotel is located across the street from Trader Joe's as well as a small shopping areaCons: Came home with bed big bites ?. We stayed in room 452 and my family and I all have random bites all over our body. That alone gives me reason not to return, sadly. The AC is loud and had a musty smell. The carpets felt grimey. The bathtub could use a facelift.

Room design was flawed so badly, cramped bathroom no place to hang a towel other than door; mini fridge was so loud constantly squeeling sound; for 2 beds there was 1 small nightstand between them unusual compared to other hotels; the pool was small. Most rooms had a view of the loud freeway. The location was good within easy range of all the vacation destinations we wanted. Breakfast was more than expected was good.

Nice location for this hotel. We were there on a busy weekend for the hotel. We also stayed on the first floor which should be avoided, if possible. Too much traffic in the hallways. Especially in the morning during breakfast. Free breakfast that was very busy every morning we were there on the weekend. They also have a patio out front of the hotel with some tables and chairs. The patio is partially shaded so you can be out there really any time of the day. It was used quite a bit by guests. Overall great stay for this location.

Overall a nice stay with a couple concerns.Pros: Quiet rooms!! Seriously, so many families were there with small kids (ourselves included) and we couldn’t hear anything from inside our room. Plus a lot of air traffic with the airport nearby, we couldn’t hear anything. Quietest hotel stay ever. Showers were always hot. Comfortable beds, good included breakfast. My kids loved the fresh chocolate chip pancakes. No complaints about staff, they brought extra towels to the pool when asked, and gave us some paper plates when asked as well. Location was the biggest plus.Cons: Pool is very small and dimly lit. It probably would have been better if the pool lights were turned on in the evening. Our room fridge was not cold despite being turned down to the lowest setting. The carpeting on the second floor coming out of the elevator had a ridge in it that was a tripping hazard. My son ended up tripping on it. The room had a few minor things that needed attention as well. Handles on dresser were loose, mattress on pull out had a large rust stain from the bar that rubs against it when folded away, and couch had a large hole in the cushion. Drain for bath tub did not have a good seal on it.The biggest con that put a damper on our stay was the elevators malfunctioning. Only one elevator was working, but it kept going to the top floor and would stop at every level on the way down. Between waiting for an elevator to bring a luggage cart up to our room, and waiting again to get our luggage to the first floor we probably waited over 45 minutes… causing us to be late for plans. With that said there was staff actively working to fix the elevators, so we recognize they were at least trying to resolve the issue.Overall despite the issues, we would choose this location again. Comfortable beds and a quiet room, free parking, hot breakfast, and great location for a reasonable price is hard to pass up.Rooms: Older rooms, but quiet with comfortable beds and consistently hot showersNoteworthy details: Malfunctioning elevator, small pool with poor lighting.Location great right off of 494, walking distance to Trader Joe’s

Overall great value for the price. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms and hotel were clean. Our room had a Keurig and K-cups. The full size Dove products in the shower were quite nice to have, as it ensured there was enough for everyone to use. We did not have any issues with other guests being loud at night. This was a family favorite, and we will likely stay here again when passing through on our travels.

Door locks/keys failed 4 times. It was very inconvenient having to constantly go to the front desk to get new room keys. Breakfast was always way over crowded. Room window was leaking when it was raining. Shower rod was slightly broken so the shower curtain kept opening itself. Overall the hotel needs updated. Old carpet, windows, furniture, etc. Hotel staff was friendly enough, won’t be back though due to the reasons mentioned.Nearby activities: Pretty close to Mall Of America and not too far away from downtown.

Great hotel. Clean, free breakfast is great. Only complaint is the toilet feels like you are gambling every time you flush… you aren’t quite sure if #2 is going to disappear or not…. I’m sure they are good for the environment, but nothing rooms the environment of a hotel room like a poo that won’t go down the hole. Super slow flush leaves you on your toes on if you got some explaining to do when you call the front desk… other than that fantastic place.
