We've had a long list of items that have needed replacement. We came for a few specific household items but left with so much more. One of the surprising finds was a beautiful set of soft towels that after first use still have us happy about our purchase. Generally speaking, IKEA is great for simplified living, minimalist style, smart storage and pretty good design on a budget. The showroom of the store is a pretty interesting experience to see how they put together so many spaces so well with all their products. Parking is easy, shopping is easy, and it's also a part of the experience to either get a Swedish snack or meal.

First I'd like to shout out to Debbie in returns. She was simply amazing fantastic patient and more than kind to me. I had used ikea kitchen design so that my Reno of a cabin would be easier. my husband wanted a cabinet maker to do it... all I could think of was expensive!!! So I called Ikea kitchen designs for help and emailed their designer my Contractors measurements. I liked the design as much as I could like a flat picture. COVID hit and everything was out of stock or delayed. I got my kitchen in about 8 shipments and 10 months of waiting. My brain swirling - now my contractor I had hired was on other projects so I waited some more. Lock down... waiting. Then this spring we put the cabinets together and he installed them. He saw that I had 15 inches of clearance between bottom of cabinet and counter top. Couldn't even put a coffee pot under. UN installed all uppers and reordered smaller cabinets. Then found that I didn't have all the guts to the lower cabinets and was still missing a door. In the end I paid the same price if not more for ikea cabinets as I would have for custom built ones. My husband has not said "I told you so" bless his heart. I want to thank Debbie in returns for helping me return about 20 items from my kitchen in progress (5 - 40 inch upper cabinets on 4 carts was a bit of an obstruction in the returns department. It took an hour but she did it!). I return today to ikea to pick up drawer fronts and shelves that were also missed some how. Their shopping list helps if you know what sektion or tornveviken means let alone pronounce it. Kudos also to Meg in Kitchen for her help!! I used to love Ikea. Now everyone says "?really? even after your kitchen disaster?" Well yeah I guess. The cabinets were easy to put together but not install as the toe kicks are useless and you have to create your own spacers if not a perfectly sized space. I hope I love my "mini" dishwasher" too. I have been without a kitchen sink since March 2021 I'm hoping I have one this weekend finally!

Fine store, relatively easy to navigate, lots of home stuff for a variety of reasonable price ranges. However, beware of the seemingly always understaffed return counter. When entering your info for the return queue, you are given the option to start an expedited return online. This is a ploy and in reality does not expedite anything. You still have to wait in line for your name/number to be called, have them scan a barcode, and go through the exact same return process. Also beware of many, many items being out of stock currently, presumably due to supply chain issues. You are able to check the stock of items online which is sort of nice, but it is not always accurate, so don't get your heart set on your desired item being in the store when you get there. Other than that, a decent experience.

Best walking track without going to a gym...I attained ALL my steps on the day we went to look for a bed at IKEA. Yes, you can short-cut around some areas, but why would you? You might miss something that you have to have that you didn't even know you needed.

Jeez I forget how woefully unprepared I am for IKEA. It's a crazy big place so be prepared! My wife pointed out at least one item from every few displays that we own so that being said, it's gotta be a 5/5 store. It's got literally everything. There's even a lot of kitchen/cooking/baking stuff that caught my attention. One other thing I really liked was all the sustainable items that were minimal on harmful plastics and such. Made me feel better about sending a bazillion dollars there.

RUDE, Rude, rude. Ask for help- receive a RUDE demeanor. Ask a question- receive a Rude answer. Checkout- receive a rude attitude. This reinforced why shopping online is the best path of travel in today's age. While the prices seem competitive, there are competitors that are happy to have you walk through their doors. The shopping carts are also a chore to steer in any direction.

We ordered Kitchen Island from IKEA a few months ago. We made full payment at the store. Only partial shipment came to our house. We complained. The remaining shipment came to our house in September. IKEA called us and demanded payment for this shipment to our protest. The IKEA representative said, "We will return this money to you shortly." IKEA kept this money, making an unjust enrichment. We called over 10 times and received profuse apologies but no refund is made yet. IKEA used to have our trust. We do not trust IKEA any more. If you order anything from IKEA, please be aware. IKEA is not a trustworthy company any more. We are thinking about brining this matter to the court, if IKEA doesn't resolve this by the end of this year. This is the worst experience we had with a major company like IKEA. Very disappointing.

'I have no idea, not with a description that vague'. I went to IKEA to buy another table, like the one I bought a few months ago. I did not see it so I talked to Bob in the 'Workspaces' department. He was looking at doctor pictures on a health insurance website and no other customers were near him. When I walked up, he began ignoring me immediately: Me: 'I am looking for a table I bought here that looks like (such and such), it is this size ( hand motioning to indicate height, width and length) and it was unfinished wood and cost this much. Do you have a recommendation where I might find that?' Bob: 'I have no idea, not with a description that vague'. He did not even leave the website with the pictures of doctors on it. Unbelievable. I think a bottle of Lingonberry Jam, or those little meatballs they used to make out of horse meat, would have been more helpful.

I remember when ya had to fight to get a parking spot at IKEA...now...not.The parking lot resembles there inventory. We were enticed on the showroom floor, however we could not find the stuff we liked because IKEA lacked inventory. On our list were lamps, curtain rods and curtains. It was a bear to find anything in stock. Our stomachs were growling.Upset with hunger and disappointed that we couldn't find anything that we were looking to purchase. So we decided to calm them with some Swedish meatballs, gravy, broccoli and mashed potatoes. Now we were disappointed at the food court. The portions were not proportionate to the price of the food...so little food for the cost. At least we didn't have to fight anyone for parking...which made me kind of melancholic.

Here on business, staying at the Radisson Blu. Craving Swedish meatballs so I walked over to IKEA. The store was very busy, the cafeteria was mobbed. 2 people serving food, 1 cashier. The people behind the counter were super friendly and cheerful, even though the line was out the door. My food was just delicious. I love IKEA Swedish meatballs!

Absolutely the worst IKEA I have ever been to. The wait to pick up a tv stand is now going on 1.5 hours. They are not even very busy. Who in the hell has to wait this long to pick up a box?

I was just shopping for a new bed, dresser, etc…. Before getting to the pillows and bedding. My wife and I were treated so poorly by an employee, first she almost runs into us with a cart. And then she was really rude when we were trying to ask questions about a product.
