Normandale Lake Park is a really nice place with beautiful and pretty views, lots of nature, and a great walking path or trail around the lake. The multi-use path is awesome for walking, jogging, or walking dogs, as it is very dog-friendly. There is a cool small waterfall and a legitimate 45-minute trail with benches to stop and enjoy. The park offers beautiful cityscapes in the background, though it never completely feels out of the city. Amenities include restrooms at the bandshell, a big restroom area, and port a potties, along with many picnic tables scattered around. Visitors note the lake water can be a bit stagnant and there are very big mosquitos. It is a nice place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the park.

Pretty lake to walk around. Lots of people with dogs out, so if your dog is reactive this will either be a great training place or a horrible walk.

Wonderful lakeside park. It’s great to have a walking path that is separated from the biking path so you don’t have to worry about being run over by bikers.
