Terrible experience with a Sephora gift card!
I bought a $100 gift card from Sephora as a birthday present for my friend. The next day, she went to the store to use it, only to find out that the card had already been used! How is this even possible?! The money was taken, but the card was worthless!
We contacted the store – no help at all, just excuses and unclear explanations. Customer support was also useless, and they didn’t resolve the issue. In the end, money wasted and a ruined experience!
Sephora, this is completely unacceptable! How can you sell already-used gift cards?! I strongly advise against buying gift cards from them unless you want to end up in the same situation. Absolutely disappointed!

Worst experience of my life. I have distanced myself from sephora lately because it's always a horrible experience but I needed to return some items so I went in today. The guy with the 5 oclock shadow and filthy shirt Raleigh was on a power trip decided to make it harder for me. I was with my children who were growing impatiently while I was trying do the return. I don't know who hired this guy but this is the reason everyone is moving on to ulta. The power trip was soo unnecessary as all he had to do was press a button to do the return. I was in the store for over an hr wasted my time and my children's time. In my receipt which clearly said I paid with a credit card. SO EVEN WITH A RECEIPT THEY WON'T APPROVE A RETURN BECAUSE THEY'RE A HORRIBLE COMPANY.

I wanted to purchase Love by Killian, but couldn't find anyone interested in helping me. There were many employees working at least 8 and the all seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves and over their headsets. When I finally found someone she pointed me in the direction and said it's over there, and then there was no product even on the shelf! You guys made it basically impossible for me to spend $450 in your store today.

I personally had a great experience. Came here on a busy Saturday afternoon, and needed a lot of help with makeup questions such as which brushes were best to use for specific makeup products, what certain products actually do and how they work, how to better cover up acne and scarring on my face, and how to properly apply make up. Courtney helped me with all of this on top of intuitively knowing which colors for each makeup product would match my skin the best. She pretty much got the match correct the first time. Courtney provided superb customer experience and completely made my entire day learning about makeup from her. She explained everything in way that was easy to understand and remember. I feel that my experience was personalized which usually doesn’t happen when I go to makeup stores. Thank you again to Courtney! She is amazing!

I was shopping on a Sunday looking for small things to buy with my $50 dollar gift card I had got for christmas and I was stopped at least 8 times by multiple workers. Some of the same workers asked me if I was doing alright multiple times as well. I replied yes to each and every one of them and felt extremely uncomfortable. There were many others shopping around but I felt I was the only one being targeted. I don’t know if it’s because of my appearance since I am a person of color and young but it was unacceptable. I can understand that it is their job to ask but they clearly thought I was stealing. I even stopped to ask my friend if it looks like we are stealing. I went as far as to HOLD the products as open as possible so they would STOP asking me. I went in looking excited to look for small things to buy and try out with my gift card and left feeling really disappointed.

My step daughter went in to use her gift card. She thought she had enough money but was 33 cents short. The lady working at the teller embarrassed her by saying she shouldn’t shop there if she couldn’t afford anything. She’s still crying over the embarrassment. Hope the people there feel happy. What a joke of an establishment.

I came here this past weekend and had one of the worst experiences at checkout. Not only was the lady at the register super rude, but she also seemed really judgy. It looked like she didn’t want to be there. I would really look into coaching.

Went in for the free Sephora tote bag and the guy at the front greeted me and asked what I needed help with. I told him I came to return my purchase from yesterday and re-purchase it to obtain the free Sephora tote with my $50+ purchase. He said I had to buy a whole new order in order to get it and that I could not return my order and do that. I said Okay, then started looking for new stuff to buy since I was on a time crunch but the way he was staring had me feeling uncomfortable acting like I was a thief. After I contacted Sephora Customer Service and they clarified I could have just showed them my receipt and gotten the tote bag. This was my first time having a bad experience and don’t think I will be returning to this location.

What an awful experience. Came into the store today and had really rude customer service by majority of the workers. One of the members who was helping me got approached by another woman and he left and helped her. Very disrespectful.

Immediate Solutions with such kindness & knowledge! Shellee A! You made my makeup plan for my sons wedding last Friday amazing & effortless! The products she shared were things I have never seen or used and they stayed on the entire day with me, never having to check for caking or fade! Honestly, just the best service! Hugged it out when I left the store and will absolutely be back!

Rude ignorance staff. I asked her a question about Jo Malone products in the store, before asking I asked “can I ask you a question, she said yes”. Then She said she hasn’t clocked in yet. Ridiculous. Ignorance. If she has not clocked in, why she’s in store???? Train your staff!
