Do not bank here. We banked here for years and had two car loans and a home loan loan through SharePoint but their customer service really went downhill after covid. We moved out of state a year ago and for months have been trying to close our accounts. Their rules make it so it is extremely difficult to close an account if you can't show up in person. We've been charged countless fees and then overdraft fees on top of it because they only notify us by mail when our account is below 0. The first time it happened we weren't notified at all and I complained so we get the mail notification but no email. It's 2025, their system should be more responsive. If you call them on the phone they'll make promises and won't deliver (like not sending us the paperwork to close our account—it's happend twice). Our leaving initially had nothing to do with us being unhappy but it just didn't make sense to leave our money in an account that was charged fees for not using a debit card 10x per month in a bank we couldn't access in person. However, our experience trying to leave has been so bad, it's worth telling people not to open an account unless they are certain they'll never need to close it.

I was a longtime happy customer of Star Choice Credit Union, which was taken over/merged into Share Point, and the service has gone downhill tremendously. The app and website are super clunky. Most of the customer service reps you talk to on the phone are very unfriendly and unhelpful. Continually disappointed since the changeover.

I was at your location off of Normandale Blvd today. I had questions about your credit union rewards program. I was lucky to get Leslie again. She was very patient and helpful. I am 73 and not real tech savvy. I had to change my credit card several months ago so I had to change my info because I could not reach the site. Leslie finally figured out what I did by trying to re-registered again. She figured out my mistake and was kind enough to write everything down for me and wished me a good day and thanked me for coming in. I really like the service at this location and it is because of Leslie. A+++ service. Thank you!!! 😃

I am extremely disappointed with the transition from Star Choice. Another bank that went from personal friendly treatment to corporate not knowing what is going on service.

Nancy J. Very disappointed in customer service. We reached out to the for our pontoon boat loan September 2023 for we had fraud on our checking account and we needed to give them our new banking info. We spoke to a gentleman and gave our new banking info. We considered this staff member to make our payment current. He did not and has left. First of November were looking at our account and saw that the payments were not coming out of our new account that we gave them in September. We had two calls with the credit union in November and also gave them our banking info to pay up our account. Come December my credit was dinged. I have never had my credit dinged. We called in and spoke with a team member ( I am being nice not to use names). She took my payment over the phone for the past two months and then for the current month. She then sent me the DocuSign go have our payments come out monthly. I shared why could this not have happened in September and then in November when we spoke with them. She shared that she saw no conversations details but saw why had called in. I was frustrated and I wanted to leave a note to their customer service and she ended up forwarding my note. We received a call back from their member services contact and we stressed our frustration on we were proactive in getting them the correct info for the payments to be on time. She said that we were at fault and she could not fix the credit damage. Being in customer service myself I shared she was not listening to us on when we started this process back in September. How could our Dec contact finally help us and three other times of contact have failed. Now today after all the payments are up today and forward by one month. Plus, we are on automatic payment I received a second hit on my credit by Share Point. I am besides myself. I would never use Share Point Credit Union again. I would welcome them to call me and help me if they are willing to be customer service friendly.

Not customer friendly and they will hit you with ridiculous fees for things that aren't your fault. They charged me double for a month of insurance than what State Farm does for a year. Don't get your loan with them.

It was a pleasure working with Jean & Lindsay. It was a smooth and stress-free experience from start to finish. They were both very knowledgeable and professional, and were always available to answer any questions. Communication was clear and timely. Overall, highly recommend!
