Staff seemed poorly trained. I know It was busy but why do they not know how to do their jobs.

I’m reaching out to share an uncomfortable experience I had today around 2:56 PM with Associate #166628 at the front register. From the moment I approached, her tone was sharp, and she came across as noticeably irritated and dismissive almost like I was an inconvenience just for checking out.
I understand everyone has off days, but there’s a difference between having a rough moment and being unnecessarily cold and snappy with customers. The way she carried herself gave off an attitude that felt passive-aggressive and unwelcoming — not what I’d expect from someone in a customer-facing role.
I hope this can be addressed appropriately. I truly don’t want anyone else to leave feeling the way I did today.

I wanted to bring attention to an experience I had today with one of the cashiers. I was assisted by a woman at the register (appeared to be Mexican), and unfortunately, she was quite rude during the interaction. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day, but her tone and attitude felt very unprofessional and made me uncomfortable as a customer.
I also noticed that before it was my turn, she was being rude to the customer ahead of me as well. It seemed like a pattern, not just a one-time moment. That’s what made the experience feel even more uncomfortable and concerning.
I understand that everyone has tough days, but I don’t think it’s fair for customers to be treated that way. I hope this can be addressed so future experiences are more respectful for everyone.

Rude, rude, rude. Told me they didn’t have a size, I said I saw it on the rack, she said she’s the employee and that I’m wrong, so I grabbed them myself. Genuinely horrible customer service and mentally unstable workers

They told me they didn’t have a pair of pants in my size, I said I just saw them on the rack, she said that I was wrong and she’s the employee so she knows. Then I walked over there and grabbed them myself.

Katie was an amazing and sweet person! Always checked in on me and I bought so much, she even helped me sneak my friends gift into my purchase. Amazing service, amazing person and I always love Tillys but this experience made it 1000x better. Thank you so much!

The employee Brandon that checked my boyfriend and I out was super rude. My boyfriend asked if they carried 2 or 3 XL sizes and he replied with "That is an unususal size, I don't think anywhere in the mall carries that size." What the employee could have said was simply "we don't have those sizes, I'm sorry." Instead, his choice of words made my boyfriend feel embarrassed and shamed for his body. I really wish this employee understood how to choose his words better and be more sensitive to people of all body types.

Went there today with my girlfriend and picked out a skirt for her and asked the simple question do you have 2x or 3x shirts for men to the person who was going to ring us up. They said no and proceeded to tell me that it is an unusual size and that they couldn't think of a single store that sells it and dragging the exchange out when I was asking them to please stop. The way they were saying it was fat shaming and they were saying it in a way of like I can't think of a single store that sells sizes that big but of course they knew not to say it like that. They're tone and the way they said it was clear what they meant just terrible that this kind of thing happened. Brandon was the name of the employee who did this so yeah that's my review on tillys at mall of America.
