Dollar General, a popular discount retail store, has been a mixed bag of experiences for the local community. While some customers have praised the store's friendly employees and affordable offerings, others have expressed frustration with the store's unreliable schedule and cluttered appearance. The store's employees have often gone above and beyond, such as when one worker used their own money to cover a customer's declined card for a fundraiser purchase. Customers have also appreciated the store's convenience, with one grandmother noting that she can quickly grab affordable toys and snacks for her grandchildren during visits. However, the store's organization and operational challenges have been a source of frustration for some. Customers have reported instances of the store closing early or not being open during regular hours, making it difficult to access necessary items. The store's cluttered appearance and difficulties keeping up with stock have also been noted. Despite these issues, the addition of a new manager, Erika, has been a positive change for the store. Customers have observed Erika's dedication to improving the store's organization and cleanliness, as well as her friendly and helpful demeanor. Overall, while Dollar General may have its challenges, the store's employees and the efforts of managers like Erika have been appreciated by the community.
On 04/3/2025 at 5:50 I was grabbing some ground beef to help with a fundraiser and my card declined because it was expired and the employee paid for it with his own money. Great worker

Never open, place is a mess. Braham should get rid of the store and get one in that can stay open for customers. Go there this Saturday and they're still getting chills ready at noon they're still not open and it's supposed to be open every day at 8:00 a.m..

I've been to this store many times over the past year or so, it is almost always under stocked and messy. Some of the employees are very rude, and likely to not even say hello or thank you. Good products, but this dollar general location definitely needs to train their employees better.
