We had Genesis before we moved, but they didn't cover our area. But they do now! Great installation and we now can easily connect to the Internet. Goodbye CenturyLink!!!! They installed service next door, after me. Thank you for providing rural high speed service!

Horrible customer service with no intention of listening to customers concerns. For a person who works remote, relying heavily on internet connection my concerns were disregarded. 2 days without service is too many days without service. I try to be understanding for local businesses but it sure is hard to do when you have to deal with rude staff that have no regard for short comings. Basically was told, it’s technology. I get that technology can be unpredictable but you sure can save yourself by training staff to be aware and sympathetic. If you’re looking to connect, Save yourself some money and get your service elsewhere. You’ll save money and save yourself the headache from dealing with rude staff.

I sure appreciate the speed and reliability of our local company Genesis Wireless in Braham, MN. After Kinetic by Windstream upped our bill from $61 to $82 without even a notice was ridiculous and in my opinion gouging because everything else is going up in price. Dan was our installer and was very thorough when he was through getting it hooked up for us. We purchased a wireless modem through Genesis instead of renting one for $10 per month from Kinetic. Genesis is a small company but their service is great in my opinion. I know that some people leave a poor opinion for their company, and I know that you can't please everyone all the time, but they sure did please us. Thanks Genesis Wireless!! YOU ROCK!!!

WE use Genesis to run a fairly large local company. We have 8 internet based phone lines, 4 computers, 6 tablets, 1 mechanic tablet and multiple cell phones running off their signal at any given time - plus wifi!!!We are in the midst of a large office remodel and Genesis Wireless and their crews have been above and beyond phenomenal - and we never had a lapse of service; it never shorted anything, it never even glitched! They have been on property 5 times now, never a complaint from any of them. They ran temporary lines from one end of the building to the other (multiple day project in a 100+ year old building, plus the guys were in yucky crawl spaces, small false ceilings, and an attic space I am afraid to enter). On the same day I called the main office with a quick notice request (our contractor called and said I can start tomorrow - we had NOTHING prepared!!! ). They moved our gear with us, made sure we were up and running on the temp lines before they left. Then, they came back and ran more lines to the new office space and ran the permanent lines back to the far offices. They came in again on short notice and installed ended lines and boxes for us to connect to in the new space. They have always cleaned up after themselves, been polite, on time, and work so efficiently! The guys are entertaining, friendly, smart - so quick!!- and they really do seem to enjoy what they do. WE will always recommend Genesis Wireless to those who are lucky enough to be in their service area. If I could get them at home I would in a second!! The office staff, the field crew and everybody in between make us feel as though we are their only customer every time we have an interaction!!! I can not recommend them enough!!

Had genesis for over a year now. Terrible service and terrible wifi. Barely working buffering on everything. If I let someone else use wifi nothing else will work except for one iphone. Really bad customer service

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ISP!!! Absolutely horrendous, constantly slows and drops out, outrageously priced. Unless you are some boomer who can't even tell the difference between USB and HDMI, stay the hell away from them. Also ignore the obviously fake five-star reviews. I'd love to give them a zero star review, but the fact that their service occasionally works is enough to warrant a star I suppose.

Pay for the top package at $110 a month. Internet constantly out. Working from home a nightmare with this internet as it is never consistent. Call tech and leave message for call back hours later if they call at all. I use my hotspot on phone more then my actual so called internet from genesis. They tell you up front that this is better than satellite and weather doesn’t affect signal. Clear skies here and no internet for 24 hours and counting.

They use a third party to take care of customer service. The third party has absolutely zero knowledge of how genesis' system actually works.

I inquired about service and received an email to call Rick's number (Genesis Owner, I'm assuming). I called five times on Monday, 3 times on Tuesday, then twice each day until the end of the week. I was assuming maybe he was on vacation and made up my mind to try again on Monday in the new week. I called and yet again, voicemail... I checked online to see if I could go into office or something, just to see the reviews and realize that my story is not uncommon. I wasted a week of my time and never got a callback or reply. Just go with CenturyLink or something else. Something is better than nothing and not worth the headache of not having wifi for work/leisure.

Don't waste your time, there are better companies that actually got back to me and provided me with service. As a networking person I can tell you they are still stuck in the 18th century with their gear. Have you seen their home page, if that's what their install looks like, I'm glad I never went with them.
