We broke a window at the cabin on a Friday night. We phoned in the dimensions of glass that we needed, and they had it ready to be picked up at 6:45. Couldn't have been easier. Great service at a reasonable price, too.

Excellent experience with Ace. Ordered a Recteq grill last week, picked it up today expecting to need to assemble it, nope was ready to go when I got there! Thanks Ace!!

Very disappointed Ace Hardware in Brainerd closed their small engine repair service. I respect and can appreciate having to make what I’m sure was a tough business decision. I would purchase my small engine parts there due to the helpful resources of their parts/service counter staff. With that gone my small engine parts and service business will be going elsewhere along with the other purchases I made while in the store for the service department.

Ordered 5 items online for pick up, one of them I absolutely needed that evening. I received a message my items were ready for pick up. When I showed up they actually only had 2 of my items and not the ones I needed immediately. I noticed I was charged for the full order. I explained to the manager I needed the items they said were available and I paid for, she seemed disinterested in helping me. I asked if they could find them at another local store but I was told I would have to buy the same items again and it would take up 7-10 days to get my refund! Manager said she would try to return my items as soon as she could. 2 weeks later I realized I never heard back and did not receive a refund. I had to call in to corporate cs to get this fixed. I would not have received my sizable refund if I didn't remember to look for it. Terrible follow through and dishonest policy that punishes customers for shopping with them. Oh lastly one of the items I did receive was mis- packaged and unusable, won't shop there again.

ace hardware in brainerd sold me a husqvarna with a known briggs engine problem and tells me no refund is possible.10 hours on unit.DONT BUY ACE

Have shopped at few different hardware stores and the Ace Hardware in Brainerd is at the top. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Very clean store. Ease of shopping is fantastic!

They are always very welcoming and helpful upon entering the store. Only place I go to get my spare keys made,been coming here for over 30 yrs and never 1 mistake! I truly appreciate that and the employees are always friendly and available when needing help. Ace is DEFINITELY the place??
