“We worked with Ben Berghuis at Neighborhood National Bank in Brainerd. This is our fourth time purchasing a home, a first at Neighborhood National and we were beyond impressed.
Ben works so hard to get your loan across the finish line, making himself available and supporting you through the process by answering all of your questions with patience and grace.
We worked exclusively with Ben over the phone, but decided to work with him over other lenders because of his kind and competent demeanor. We truly felt like we had a 'friend' with us during the mortgage process.
We would recommend Ben to anyone that is purchasing a home!”
“Manager Heidi is the best. I know her crew cares about her and I have always felt she cared about me personally. Most of the staff recognize me when I go in and I know it's because of Heidi.”
“Been a member over 20 years. Great financial institution Gina in Brainerd is top notch. All the upper management are always willing to listen. I personally would not bank anywhere else”
“We received exceptional service from Tricia Freeman for a complex family matter. She devoted additional time to solve several complex legal issues I was having for two vulnerable members of my family. Her knowledge and professionalism was impressive. We also received attention from the branch manager who checked in. It is very much appreciated during a difficult time. Thank you!”
“First lobby visit and this location and it was a fantastic experience. I was greeted by Karissa and asked how the she could be of assistance. She was very helpful and took the extra step of making photocopies of the checks I was depositing. All around great service!”

“What I thought was a scam at first turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Friendly and furthermore, knowledgeable. They've saved our company money and guided us through making educated decisions on various financial projects. Highly recommend.”
