Stopped in to get some Sunrise Mill Flour today. We had the most AMAZING breakfast burrito from the deli. I would definitely go back. The co-op was filled with amazing products.

This is the only place I trust 100% of the products I buy. The deli is delicious, and the staff are like family. So proud of this amazing local organization and the many hands that have helped to build it!

If you're vegan and in the Brainerd region, I'm sorry. You must be hungry. I understand. I was on my way to BK for another Impossible Whopper when I saw this co-op and stopped in. I was so pleasantly surprised that they had such an array in such a small space--and a little deli! I ordered a sammich with vegan cheese and veggies plus a cup of the soup of the day, also vegan. I wolfed both down in my car, still marveling at what a great find this was!

Crow Wing Food Co-op is a small store with natural and organic food with a great selection of vegan vittles. You'll find vegan items as well as some gluten free and other allergen friendly products. The deli has a couple of vegan sandwiches or wraps. They also have some fresh veggies, a bulk aisle, and a refrigerator/freezer section with a nice assortment of dairy and meat alternatives.
The workers are really friendly and helpful.

Great smells when i walked in the door. Was greeted by very friendly staff. Store is well laid out and they have a lot of options for low salt low carb foods. Will be back often

I happened to read some of the reviews here today, and tho most are very positive, there are a couple that I do not agree with. One says that they were treated rudely when entering the premises. I have been a customer for several years and have never, ever been disrespected in any way. I find them to be friendly and extremely helpful. I shopped at the Co-op for over a year before I became a member and was never belittled to feel like I wasn't welcome if I were not a member. I like being a member because I like the benefits that come with membership.
As far as getting bad vegetables, it is your responsibility to check the produce. If you find something that is over ripe, take it to an employee and let them know. They get their trucks in once a week and if, for instance, avocados don't sell as quickly as expected, some may be overripe. Take it to a worker! They will check the produce section. It's not a big deal. They don't always have a steady stream of customers every day all day long to keep it moving. Thanks for letting me say my piece! For you folks who were unhappy with the service, please give it another chance, and go in with a smile; I'm sure you'll get one back!!

They say that everyone is welcome but ask if you're a member as soon as you walk in the door. If you say no, they give you a patronizing little smile. Save it. Ask for membership cards at the checkout and stop being such snobs.

Terrible panini sandwich. Billed as a grilled cheese and mushroom panini for $11.09, it was a thin slice of white American cheese and about 3 sad slices of mushy mushrooms. It was mostly spinach and raw red pepper. Not grilled. Barely warm. Don’t waste your money.
