I feel the need to be honest about this place for people visiting from out of town. Don't go here. Cheap bland food that the older locals seem to love. Food is cooked with margarine like its 1989. Food arrives greasy and unseasoned. Interior smells like old musty carpet, chairs and booths are very outdated. It's 2023 and they don't accept credit cards, which is also cumbersome for some people. Perkins has higher quality food any day of the week, and if you are looking for a more elevated menu, check out Sage on Laurel. I just cannot recommend this place.

Passing Baxter I asked for recommendations for breakfast and a lot of people recommend Front Street Cafe. I’m really glad I come here it doesn’t look fancy it’s pretty quiet breakfast is good and service is friendly and polite. Biscuits and gravy are so tasty one of the best I tried. Great food good service and quiet atmosphere,not to forget just cash of checks and prices are fair.
