I don’t get how some years I’m approved for $4000 or $5000 but then this year I’m only approved for $500?? How does that work?!

Called for clarification on information on my taxes per the fee I paid when I filed, thought it’s included or just ok to call and ask a question. The staff who answered the phone was very condescending in the way she spoke cut me off and when I advised her it’s very rude to repeat the same sentence and in a slow way as she was. She then said “well your rude”…. I don’t think I’ll be returning as a customer next year and hopefully they make some staffing adjustments. Prior to this the experience was a good one which is the reason for two stars.

Had my tax papers for 15 days and didn't look at them. Now they are late and will have to pay extra fees to the IRS. Poor communication and customer service.

They are charging $500 to file taxes if you are a parent.

Cathy does my taxes every year and she is the only one i trust. She is fast, professional, funny, hard working and such a great person. I look forward to seeing her. I would definitely recommend her and liberty tax to anyone who wants to know where to go for tax preparation. Thanks Cathy for all that you do!!!❤️❤️

don’t come here. my experience was terrible. the lady talked down to me like i was stupid and degraded the fact that i had never done taxes before. i handed her my W2 form which she looked at and then proceeded to throw it back at me. she was rushing me to decide whether or not i wanted her help and then glared at me when i was trying to ask questions. very rude, find someone else

If I could give them 0 stars I definitely would. I only needed a renters rebate form done. I left the office and double checked things in the vehicle and caught an error immediately, we called and Shirley said she would send out and amended copy for me to sign and mail. I recieved that in the mail and made sure to look it over. That was also filled out incorrect. So, I called and spoke with her and explained the error .. which lines were incorrect. I was told that it is weird and that on her end line 25 versus line 28 was filled in. It clearly was the opposite and the page was even signed in pen with her name. I told her that and was spoken to rudely about how she would send me another amended copy.. wondering if there's a limit on amended copies! I had also asked to speak to the supervisor and she had told me she was in charge for the day and he was out. I said thats ok, can I just get his name so I can talk to him another time. She said he was rarely there and refused to give me his name or any information of someone else I could speak with. (I asked for a manger as soon as I called before I even explained the additional problems with my form. (Well its good to know you can call the 800 number and they don't have any problem with giving out the local office managers name)

I was hoping to have a better experience with the current reviews here. For one, I was asked maybe one question throughout the entire experience. They didn’t do much to help get the most benefits out of my return. Also, after everything was completed, I was asked to sign and verify the information, without seeing most of the documentation. So once it all was printed and complete, my NAME was spelled wrong on all of the documents. The gal said she would fix it and then had me sign 3 additional times. I had no idea what was happening throughout the experience. Do not recommend.

Cathy in the Brainerd office was great! She was informative, friendly and efficient. She had my tax return information entered and submitted within 45 minutes.
