My husband had a horrible experience at Brained Medical Supply (and he gave them many tries). He walked in to North Central Medical Supply and instantly received professional and thoughtful service regarding the mask for his C-PAP machine. Highly recommended!

It really depends who's working as far as customer service. My 1st time in last winter the employees were helpful and awesome! I was in last week. I have a host of medical issues but because I do my best to dress nice, hide my large scars, leg brace and continuous glucose monitor and try to always be cheerful, most people are unaware. I am always on the lookout for a cute cane, comfortable foot braces and a shoe that won't make my feet scream from the neural damage but will also accommodate my various braces. I was waiting for one of the ladies to complete paperwork so I TRIED to look around the store. Apparently that's a huge no no. I am respectful, put things back exactly as they were, did not have a backpack or large bag. Not sure why I was treated poorly. I think it's because I didn't "look" sick. On that particular day I had gone days without food and was in a lot of pain. Of all places...a medical supply should learn not to judge a book by it's cover.

The staff here are so nice. It feels way more comfortable and clean, compared to other medical supply stores in town.I was here last week waiting for them to run my insurance, which took quite a long time, but it wasn't their fault, the insurance website was down.I chatted with a few older ladies who were getting a bed and sheets and the store employee brought her a ton of different sheets to pick from and when one of the ladies said " Oh I just want a plain white one" I had to hold back my laughter, because the reason the employee went to get all these sheets was because all they had out was white and she didn't want plain sheets.It was cute and obvious the woman had memory issues, the employee didn't even make a face, she continued to help her choose some patterns she liked and helped them as much as she could.I like seeing that kindness, because most people are so rude these days. Y'all are wonderful.

This has been one of the most frustrating experiences and worse service I could imagine. My first statement from them was that it could take hours or days for them to even receive a fax. From then, I had to go back and forth on phone calls to my doctor and had to drive back and get the written order. We have been going to North Central for years but will no longer use them unless necessary.

Initially, I had my doubts, due to a (former) employee not communicating with to me regarding my CPAP equiptment. HOWEVER. I called to speak to the manager, (Chad, perhaps?) and he was very kind, and very patient, knew right away what was going on, and went out of his way to get my CPAP items directly to me. I gotta say, I'm a bit cynical and I am not often surprised, but an hour later, a North Central Med Supply Rep was at my gate, at our HOME with my supplies. This is what I consider outstanding customer service. Thank you so much! It is appreciated :)

Ordered a knee scooter and found out after the fact that medicare insurance did not cover it. Had I known in advance when it was first ordered I would have been able to look elsewhere. Basically was told the person taking the order should have been better prepared. It should not be my fault management did not properly train their employees.

I first entered North Central Minnesota Medical Supply for a C-PAP fitting in July 2020, the week before the governor of Minnesota issued a mask mandate due to Covid-19. (This business caters especially to elderly people and to people with breathing issues of all kinds.) The mask fitter took me to the back of the store and said "As an employee of North Central Minnesota Medical Supply I am not required to wear a mask. Do you want me to put one on?" Yes, I did! The mask fitter told me she was also a respiratory therapist, which I found hard to believe. While setting up my new C-PAP machine, the woman ran into difficulties and had to call other employees into the tiny room. They could not fix the first problem but tried to convince me that the machine would run fine even with the problem uncorrected. When the second problem was encountered, the other employees final gave up and brought in a new machine for me. Then the mask fitter fit me with a mask. But when I used it that night and for the next few weeks, it kept leaking and waking me up. So I returned to the business. The same mask fitter was there. After hearing my story she looked at me suspiciously and asked "Who fitted you with this mask?" I told her that she herself had. So she gave me a different size of the same model. I was able to get it to work at home, but I would wake up during the night with a sore ear, and by morning the bridge of my nose was painful to touch. I was loathe to go back into a business that had taken Covid-19 precautions so lightly and had an incompetent mask fitter, so I went to a different supplier of C-PAP equipment where they gave me three different models of mask to try and walked me through the fitting process by phone. I would not recommend North Central Minnesota Medical Supply to anyone.

No help at all since I purchased me electriic mobility chair used that was purchased there. I did finaly get it repaired myself with the help from a local auto parts store and some parts on Amazon.
