South side Express is a hidden gem! I was brought there by my best friend and when I saw the assortment of tobacco and vape products, I was surprised! I didn’t know that there was a whole area/section with smoke shop products. The range of products is pretty good for this not being specifically a “smoke shop”. I live in Aitkin but I go out of my way to go to brainerd to go to this store! There’s snacks; household items and so much more! The staff have been very helpful and friendly when I’ve stopped in. Very accommodating and easy to talk to. So check them out of if you’re in the area! I did and now I’m sharing my experience with you!!Girl with a puffer,Cookie :)

Please fix the strobe LED light show you guys have been putting on for the last year. You have 3 street lamps flickering 24/7. We can see it through all our windows at night

Previous owner was/is a rude Bish. She gets 5 stars circling her head after a good "lesson" Now... I like this gas/liquor store. The new owner is a hard worker that shows in his employees as well. Tossing dollars? Do it here. FYI- I like strawberry shortcake

Could be a 4 or 5 star place, if not for the clearly very, very angry manager. She tells at staff and customers alike!They have a good selection on the convenience store side and generally have what I need. The liquor store side is well stocked and maintained. Worth a visit to check out the selection.

The manager of the store is rude and very insensitive. Worst experience I’ve ever had ever and I’ve been going to that store for years. The manager is rude she’s disrespectful and needs to seriously need to be replaced if they expect to keep people coming back there
