Deacon's Lodge is a nationally acclaimed championship golf course sculpted from Northern Minnesota wilderness, considered one of Arnold Palmer’s best designs. It is a beautiful, fabulous, and peaceful course with a very fun, challenging, and great layout that demands accurate approach shots. The course is always well maintained and in great condition, featuring massively wide fairways and masterfully designed green complexes. Guests enjoy a privately-routed experience where they can feel like they have the course to themselves. The staff is incredible, very friendly, and provides top-notch customer service. The practice facilities are exceptional. While the GPS on the carts is noted as limited and not easy to read, and some tee placements can be challenging, the overall experience is wonderful. The venue also offers a delicious dinner and wonderful food. It is a very, very challenging course that promises to challenge the best while entertaining golfers of all levels, earning its place as a must-play destination.
