Yes people rent by the week, it's a great option I work and have my sister who has income finding affordable housing is hard and Motel 6 affordable, also pet friendly. The staff has been great everyone has a story and we told them ours and the lent a kind ear helped with stuff we asked for.

This motel 6 is very cheap and they don't charge extra for dogs. My dog and I recently stayed there for one night and honestly, it was fine. The room was clean enough. The air conditioner was icy cold and the shower worked as expected. The door handle was a little janky, but it locked and it was fine. Having traveled extensively abroad (and not just in Western Europe lol), I've seen and stayed in MUCH worse accommodations. This place is fine! If you don't like seeing poor people, or you are expecting the Ritz, you will be disappointed. If you're looking for a cheap room and you're not a princess about it, you'll be just fine. Shirley at the desk was lovely, too.
