“Absolutely love going here with my husband to get beads and always get great service from Robert...kinda flock to him when we go in cuz he's very personable and professional...love to work with him ? thanks for the great service”
“I don’t have any reason to give less than 5. Staff is very helpful and has good number of items and items quality is good. I went to buy items for birthday party and found almost all items. Variety of items available with low prices. Why can’t you try when you need party stuff. Good place as well.”
“As a fairly novice crocher, I decided to start a fairly ambitious project for myself and stopped in for some yarn. I connected with Taisha and she educated me on things from yarn weight to how to shop for the correct amount of yarn (plus helpful colors for beginners) and what to do with hanks so they don't get tangled! She went on to share some online resources to further help me and truly encouraged me to take on the project with saying 'you can YouTube anything and we're always here to help!'.
Obviously the store itself has wonderful products. All of the yarn and accessories are excellent quality and the example crochet and knit projects really stir up the imagination. Looking forward to stepping in again for my next project or for a simple treat. ❤️”
“There is a wonderful variety of stock (beads, thread, tools, wire, etc) and very helpful and kind staff. Prices are great too. I’d recommend Bobby Bead over Micheal’s any day”
“I love this shop and I’m so sad that these wonderful ladies are having to close it down. They have needlepoint and cross stitch patterns, embroidery threads from various brands, and many many accessories.”
“Wonderfully friendly place where you can feel great about picking up someone's discarded materials and turn it into something new, while also knowing that the small amount of money it costs its even going back to the community. Its also very close to the E line bus and Greenline which I love.”
“Quite the snazzy store for big middle aged kiddos to play in. Also, if you need or want to find a unique gift that you can't find in a Target or Walmart store, tis the place to go.
Fun noise makers, kaleidescopic toys, cars, magnetic monsters and more. Plus art supplies like scissors, clay, paper, wiggly squiggly pens, and more.”

“Really happy I stopped in. Decent pricing, has some brands/supplies that I haven't seen in other stores. It's on the MCAD campus, but not hard to get to. Plenty of parking available on side streets. Only downer is their limited business hours, but considering it's for students first before the general public, it makes sense. If you're curious and have free time during the week, I recommend checking it out. Because of my work hours, I can't make it a habitual spot for shopping, but I'm very glad I got to visit.”
“If I could give 10 stars I would. Their service is phenomenal, and they always have what I need. And if they don't, they will get it. I have been disappointed in another clay distributor in the twin cities area time and time again and switched to Minnesota Clay and I can't get enough. I am always pleasantly surprised, no, shocked by how on the ball they are. I ordered clay a DAY ago, arrived TODAY. I am not saying that will be everyone's experience, but they continue to deliver LITERALLY and FIGURATIVELY.
10/5 stars, highly recommend.”
