From start to finish the car buying process is really a breeze. I did the rapid pick up appointment and when I arrived that too went smooth. Signed a few documents and was out the door.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars was originally i chose a range rover which had to be transferred from out of state after the transfer fee was paid and after I added it on to my current insurance policy. After doing a bit more research I decided to go with a different vehicle which was actually about 8,000 dollars more but came with the manufacturers warranty and a lower interest rate. With that being said I did reach out to see if -as a courtesy-they would refund the transfer fee I paid and they declined (This was my second time purchasing a car from Car Max)
I understand the no refund on transferred vehicle policy but considering i ended up purchasing a more expensive vehicle one would think they would be open to refunding a returning customer.
All in all my experiences have been great ones and that wouldn't stop me from doing business with them in the future.

I've had endless problems with my car since purchasing it about 2 or 3 years ago. I do have the extended warranty but I've spent probably over $1,000 by now because of how many times I've had to take it to the mechanic with all the problems it's had. I definitely would not recommend buying a car at CarMax anymore.

Easy and pleasant process. Online estimate was same as they ultimately paid. They of course had to validate the condition I said it was in. Process of checking over the vehicle, paying off my loan, and handing me a check for the difference was between 30-60 minutes.
