Hello guys. Be careful of this location this is the second time they gave me a truck in which the paperwork says almost full tank of fuel. Before driving away i took pictures of it as I always do. When I was about to return it, i stopped at the gas station fuel it almost full tank and later realized that this was little less than half, meaning i put extra seven gallons. The reason I know that I pumped extra gallons is that I went with a ten foot small truck for 77 miles and added 12 gallons of gas. I the point of return i explained to the attendant he responded nothing they can do. I believe this is something this location always do. Just a head up and be careful. Take a picture of your milage it's possible that some folks are leaving with wrong milage count.

There is not anything that I liked about my truck rental experience. My $19 cargo van rental ended up costing me $106. Up front costs were deceptive as I was told I would be paying $0.10 a mile. I would have been better off renting a SUV. What I thought would be a great deal and experience turned out to be my worst business transportation decision. U-Haul staff are untrained and lack knowledge. Never again!

I did the online pick up and drop off process. I arrived during business hours to pick up the vehicle I rented. I checked out on the app and that went okay, except that I had to go into the building to get the key. There was one person at the counter and 2 people ahead of me. I was waiting for about 5-10 minutes, when a second person came in to help customers. After getting the key, I went to my truck and took a picture of the dashboard before leaving the premises. The gas level was less than 3/4 of a tank. I drove to a storage facility a few miles away to pick up one load and moved the load to my house, another couple of miles away. After dropping off the load, I brought the truck back to the U-Haul facility. The total trip was between 8 - 9 miles.
I started the process to return the truck on the app. I took another picture of the dashboard on my phone which showed the gas level to be at or even above the level when I first got the truck. This was before I realized that I had to take another picture on the app. As I was going through the process, the app told me that I owed $16 for gas because evidently the gas level was below the 13/16 level required by U-Haul. In addition, I was charged for more miles than what I had driven. Since the gas level when I got the truck was already below 3/4 tank; I drove the truck less than 10 miles; and when I returned the truck, it was at the same level or even higher; I disputed the gas charge. Once I did that, I couldn't finish the process, and I was not given any instructions about what to do at that point. It was past midnight by this time, so I took pictures of the location and the empty cargo bay, dropped the key in the drop box, and went home.
I got up the next morning and returned to the U-Haul location shortly after 7:00 a.m. to finish the drop off process. At that time, I was told that I should have received a text before leaving with the truck to confirm the condition of the truck--any damage, mileage, gas level. I didn't receive a text before leaving the premises with the truck. The person helping me eventually took off the gas charge and the extra mileage.
I would recommend that more attention to detail be given regarding mileage, gas level, etc. since U-Haul has very detailed requirements for customers when returning a truck. I didn't like being charged for the equivalent of 5+ gallons of gas (gas is about $2.99/gallon in Minneapolis, MN right now) for driving less than 10 miles--all because the gas level wasn't where it should have been in the first place when I got the truck.

This specific location ALWAYS gets over on you!! I get charged extra anytime I've ever used this location TWICE this has happened! Crooks id suggest a different location if u must use Uhaul! Even the guy at the desk lies to you about charges!! Way over charged no way to argue it or fight the extra charges poor customer service and knowledge of there rules!!

The workers and managers went above and beyond to help me address some issues with my rental truck and got me stored away quickly. All workers I encountered displayed top notch customer service and courteous and kind behavior.I felt like a valued customer. Thanks Uhaul you made a stressful move run a lot smoother.

I have used this location for a total of 2x. Each time the process went smoothly and very professional. The staff was very nice, polite, and very helpful. I dealt with Lynell the first transaction, and I can't remember the name of the associate that helped this last time-however both of them were great!

Great service at this location. Reserved a trailer at one location, and 24 hours before pick up, they informed us they didn't have said trailer! Brooklyn Park and associate Lynnel helped us out and fulfilled our needs. Awesome!

I rented a storage unit at this U-Haul location for about four months. I got the first month free as per the rent a truck promotion. My unit was so clean and easy to move in. I had access to my storage unit all the time. I did not encounter any issue whatsoever. When I moved out, all my things were still intact, no damage to any of my belongings. The storage units are climate controlled, so my things were well protected. The staff at this location are so helpful, friendly and professional. Don’t look anywhere else if you’re looking to rent a moving truck or storage unit. You will have an amazing experience at this location. Thank you U-Haul Brooklyn Park for your professionalism and friendliness, I will definitely recommend you to anyone.

Worst U-haul experience ever. If you want peace of mind after using U-Haul, then don't use this location. They charge my card extra after I return the equipment on time. The front desk person was very rude to even to get clarification on extra charges. She read some sentences from the agreement to justify the charges.
The extra charges are for returning the truck with less than 1/4 fuel. They charged for 7 gal gas at $4.5/ gal, when the actual fuel price is less than $3.5/ gal in Minneapolis. When I received the truck it was just above 1/4. I drove only 47 miles and returned in a hurry without filling the tank. Apart from fuel charge for 7 gal, they also charged $30 fuel service fee. When you give a truck to the customer with just above 1/4 fuel, I feel it is your duty and responsibility to explain the extra fee even if it is written in the agreement that was sent to the phone as text message.
Overall, I will never use this location again.

Self service return pictures repeatedly were rejected. They were NOT outlined in red (as it says they will be) to indicate which ones were unacceptable. I finally deleted them all and started over. I still don't know which ones or why they were rejected.
If you don't complete the self service return, they will charge you an extra fee.

U-Haul needs to update their software. The employees are doing their best, but there seems to be a problem with the system—whether it's slow, outdated, or not user-friendly, it takes too much time to attend to customers
