I had a similar experience to many other reviewers here. I made a rental car reservation prior to my arrival, but when I went to pick up the car, I was informed that my reservation had been canceled without any prior notification. I was left without an alternative rental option. This site lacks basic customer service skills and courtesy.

I get to this location and they tell me that they don’t have a car for me even though they already charged my credit card. I asked if there was any other vehicles I could put me and he said they don’t have any at all.. I called the customer support and they were very rude. I will not be renting from Avis again nor will anyone in my company.

The worst customer service, I wouldn't recommend this location for any rentals ever. Reserved a vehicle and wasn't informed that none was available until I got to the location. Terrible person was to busy making personal phone calls to deal with waiting customers in lobby.

This location is the worst, I have reserved a vehicle without notifying me in advance that we're no vehicles available when I arrived at the location. To add to it the guy ended up, asking me my name 5 times arrogantly after I told him my name as it was written on my ID. Avis and Budget, should reconsider doing business with this kinds of people.

Reserved a car through them called because I was not going to be able to pick it in the time that I had put they told me I had a 24-hour window to pick it up then when I went to pick it up they were trying to charge me $300 more and would it honor what their representative told me.

I rented cars here twice in the past year. I had prepaid for another rental last Thursday and went in to pick it up for a weekend trip. In the past I have had to enter my ssn on site since I apparently have a low enough credit score that it flags their system. In the past I have entered my ssn and proceeded with the rental as usual. On Thursday the attendant could not seem to get this process accomplished. He had me come behind the counter to try and enter it myself, and after several failed attempts (he didn’t seem to understand how to fill out the form), he just said, “Sorry here’s an 800 number hopefully they will give you a refund.” I politely tried to ask him what we could do to secure a vehicle since I had plans/reservations/etc, to which he replied, “sorry.” I asked where else I might rent a car in town and he told me to go across the way to Enterprise. I did just that, and I will continue to do so. I can’t believe that after multiple times renting there, and prepaying for a reservation I was turned away. Really poor service, poor understanding of the process and software, and generally just a lack of compassion.

Love the owner of this location. Have been renting from them for years. He's friendly, professional and I always get the car I requested.

We needed a car asap. Called a local number we thought was a direct line to the local rental agency, instead it redirected to the national number. A representative assured us they had vehicles. We passed up a sure thing further away to take advantage of this place just being a couple minutes from home.
When we got to the location, despite at least two other people working, we had to wait for the only guy at the counter to get done with another customer who was hemming and hawing over whether or not to buy the supplementary insurance.
When it was finally our turn, despite having a confirmation number, we were informed they had no vehicles. This place is in a small strip mall. They have no space for vehicle inventory. They bring vehicles in as needed, which requires advance notice. None of this was relayed to us ahead of time. He said we could go to the airport, they have lots of cars there.
To compound matters, the reservation was non-refundable, so now we have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get our money back. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

This location employers on Avis are very lazy and don’t pick up their phone. They will transfer their phone to call center. Go somewhere else and spend your money in the right place other rental cars . I can’t believe Avis are not tolerating this type of customer service. Stay away from this.

Reserving a vehicle was simple. We got there and found that someone had changed our reservation from a Ram 1500 to an SUV, with additional charges. We did get the truck, but thank goodness I had all my confirmation. I called Customer Service to straighten out the problems. The person I spoke with was kind and helpful. He was able to straighten out our reservation. The truck we rented was not clean, and we found a knife in it, which we got rid of. We returned the truck after we washed vacuumed and cleaned it. The return went smooth. The representative was kind, and we were checked out without any problems. I will be checking my CC to make sure my reimbursement is credited within the 3 days I was told it would be.
