I'm putting 4 stars since home Depot is my go and usually has everything I need with easy in and out and a helpful app. Employees are generally knowledgeable and helpful.I'm writing to caution about the lumber experience I had.-I purchased some ply wood off the shelf and had it cut in the back area, no problem there.I then went to pay and found that the price of the wood was 50 dollars more than what the price tag connected to the shelf said. Now granted I'm not a lumber expert, and there was no lumber employee in sight, so I used my best judgement and assumed the price was the tag that was attached to the shelf it was on. That assumption was unfortunately incorrect despite being the case that the label corresponding to the shelf is what you expect in almost any other retail situation.Granted I had already had the cut made, so I asked for someone in lumber who could help me understand, or perhaps there was a mistake. They came over and explained that the tag is for the lumber beneath, and then stated that this mistake happens very frequently and has resulted in lots of returns. They stated there was nothing they could do and that I would need to complete a return on the wood and then choose the one that I wanted knowing how pricing works and act accordingly. They did apologize as well but could tell they where defensive as they had heard this critique many times.Constructive feedback:1. The employee that explained this to me said that there is nothing they can do about the price tagging despite all the returns and confusion they admitted to. Maybe they are correct, so management/corporate, this is your queue to do something, since obviously there is something you can do about price placement.2. If by some weird anomaly you can't change pricing placement, maybe have employees present that can point this out. Or maybe have a price confirmation check when cutting or any other point where suitable.I bought the board because it was needed for my project. I just can't help but feel like this is something home Depot can do something about given the clearly frequent feedback. Seems like a personnel/training or price placement change that could prevent people from feeling bait and switched despite that we "should have known" or should have "known to ask".

Exceptional Service received at this Home Depot! Ask for Braden or Tara - they took the time to help us with something that would not normally happen! We needed to be able to roll a tool cart out versus having it in a box because my husband has a bad back, so lifting the box at home would have been impossible. They unboxed and put wheels on one for us since there weren't any already assembled. Super helpful and went above and beyond! You just don't get this kind of customer service anywhere anymore so we were very pleasantly surprised!

Just bought a Christmas tree there. I've been waiting for someone to show up and help with wrapping, fresh cut etc. Than they said it won't fit into the net wrap machine. They tide it on the roof top of my car and I drove less that 1 mile when it fell off. The weirdest experience ever simply getting a Christmas tree!

Worked with Will today who helped my mom purchase some beadboard. Will was very kind, friendly and professional. Thank you! Overall this a very clean and well stocked/staffed store. I can always find what I need and the service is pretty great more often than not.

I love this store, they always have what I need and everyone is always so nice and helpful. I was here today getting some painting supplies that I needed for my bathroom project. In the self checkout line I was greeted by Sandi, she was the sweetest lady ever. She was so incredibly nice and friendly, she asked me about my projects, and really brightened my day. I definitely hope I get the pleasure of seeing Sandi next time I’m in the store!

Used curbside pickup as suggested by the mobile app. No one has came out in 10-15 minutes. This sign was on here…but when you call, they just repeatedly hangs up on you after the prompts. Nice job Home Depot.Giant waste of half an hour. If you’re not able to fulfill a service, please get rid of it; much less recommend this service.

The people in the paint department are amazing and super helpful, very personable and professional. Except for Kim who works part time in paint and part time as cashier. She was extremely rude and unprofessional, I can see everyone's mood drop who comes in contact with her

I went in there to return a paint sprayer that did not meet my standards for a project I had going on. Bill at the return desk was very rude, I was even honest enough to tell him that it was accidentally covered with over spray when he wasn’t even gonna bother to look inside the box. Then I asked for a store manager and he lied and said there wasn’t any but magically two appear out of no where? Really bad customer service. Thankfully a paint manager named Morgan/Megan came to help and accepted my return. I guess if your gonna work there know the policy and don’t be so quick to assume.

What ever happened to service with a smile? I approached 3 workers. The first ignored me completely as she was talking to a coworker. The second averted my gaze and walked away. The third turned her back on me at which point I said excuse me, I don't mean to bother you. She said what can I help you with as she scowled at me. I told her I was looking for someone to help me in plumbing. She called someone and told me where to meet him as she continued to look at me as if I were a pile of dirt she had to clean up. I met this person in the isle I was told to go to and he informed me I could not get the item I was looking for in the store, I would have to buy it online. But it is very hard to order this part online. You have to get specific measurements. In the past, the worker would get the measurements from the old item I brought in and order it for me(with a smile I might add). Or they would tell me where I could go to get this part. This person did none of these things. Just offered another scowl. Sure I know you can't get fired anymore because everyone needs workers. But I also know I can go elsewhere and you have just lost a customer, long time customer. Where do you hire your workers anyway? Grumps R us?
