“I had such a pleasant experience in the paint dept at the Apple Valley Menards. Had a very nice young lady, Kristine (or Kristina)? help me. She was very knowledgeable & helpful!! She advised me on the right paint choice, matched the paint to my bedspread, showed me what to prep the walls with to hide marks that I could never get rid of last time I painted. Also she didnt try to sell me stuff I didnt need or the more expensive choices. Very nice young lady with a very cute accent. Don't ever get rid of her cuz I have alot of paint projects coming up!

“This location had the shelving in stock I wanted. When I was looking for the specific unit I wanted when a Menards team member stopped by and asked if I needed any help! I go to Menards a lot and usually you have to hunt someone down. Note, there is construction (May 2026) on Portland so Google Maps it for the best way to get there.”
“Went here this morning after seeing the exit to bloomington location is closed. I always thought this home depot was smaller but nope same size. I needed help in the long bulb dept an employee came it was not his specialty but found me someone to help. They don't look the same they are skinnier but he said they will fit. So my fingers are crossed that they will fit. Store was clean and tidy. All employees willing to help.”

“Today we used the dog wash station for the first time, and the experience was pretty positive. The tub is large enough for our lab and the shampoo and towels were included. The drying station is large and equipped with a good dryer. For $10.00 it's better than washing a large dog in the tub in the winter.”

He had a real friendly demeanor. I thanked him for his excellent customer service. Then I went to the self checkout and had more great service. Ibrahim rang me up at the self checkout, and did it all for me! Then he put the three bags of salt that I purchased in my cart. I was floored!! “I learned more in five minutes here than in an hour at a big box retailer. I was greeted upon walking in the door and I was able to ask questions about the composite lumbers to find a product that will be perfect and cool for our south facing front porch (keeps cool in direct sunlight). I was handed a bag and told to take as many samples as I like and given a card for follow-up cost estimates. I will be back - very pleased.”
