It's not a shocking development here but the original pancake House is the best breakfast in the twin cities. All the locations are Rock solid but the one in Eden Prairie is consistently great. Pancakes, french toast all the usuals done to perfection. I'm more into eggs, bacon and hash browns and these do not disappoint. Hash browns are done to perfection. Always crispy on the outside and rich and creamy inside. If you're looking for a breakfast this place is great. No reservations but there's a wait list and even if the place is packed Services are very good and the line moves faster than you think. On top of that, there's a counter and you can count on only a short wait until you can get a seat there. Consistently good food and service is top notch if you like to go for a nice breakfast the Original Pancake House in Eden Prairie is a no-brainer.

An exceedingly good eating experience, the pancakes are extremely good, with very good primary flavors, simple but delicious and works well for people who just want to point to something on the menu and not be disappointed with the dishes outcome. The service is fast for the amount of traffic the restaurant receives and attentive to concerns and questions. The atmosphere is crowded but moderate in volume. Overall the food is very good and the service would meet and partially exceed expectations. Would eat again.

French toast was good but a little pricey. Waitress was good but did what most servers do- after they deliver the check and take payment, you are then invisible

Such a relaxing simple place for traditional American food. Probably does not qualify as health food but it sure feels good and is nutritious. Great place to go out with boomer parents.

There were 14 of us and the breakfasts all came at the same time. Hot, tasty and what we ordered. Pancakes are fabulous and their bacon is the best!

Even with a completely full parking lot they were able to seat us in 10 mins.I got the strawberry banana Dutch baby and it was absolutely for the wait 20 minute wait for it to cook. It had what looked like a full banana and 2 cups of fresh strawberries on top along with whip cream and a strawberry syrup. Also had a coffee and that was pretty standard, no complaints. My wife got a Northwoods hashbrown and she said it was also very delicious and filling. She also got an OJ that was very fresh, I think they squeezed it today. A little too pulpy in our opinion but still very good.Definitely beats going to the big franchises if you are willing to wait a little longer for food to come and pay a little more.Overall the bill came to just shy of $50 for the 2 of us.
