They offer curbside pick up, but cancel my order every time. I walk in and the product I wanted to order is in stock each time. What's the point of sending discounts for online orders and then not fulfilling the order?

Kevin is the only good employee this store has literally. I will only shop here because of him. The rest of the employees are a joke. I’m assuming Doug is the manager there. I have never met someone more pissed off at his life than this guy. Throwing his arms up in the air. Whatever just take care of the customer. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this location even though it’s closer. I’d rather drive to the apple valley petco where the Employees all are great. Store very clean. Maybe corporate needs to take a stop in at the Burnsville location.

Not enough employees you always have to find one to help you. They should have feeder mice and rats for snake owners. That is why only 3 stars. Otherwise it's a store with just about everything you could ever need for your pets.

We had a great experience at the Burnsville PetCo. Staff was helpful and listened to our questions and concerns about our puppy’s training needs. We were very happy with our experience and signed up for six 1:1 training sessions.

Went to buy my kitten food, which I usually get from another location. There were two different versions of my kitten food and I was curious what the difference was. I went and asked a female presenting employee with brown hair and blonde streaks. She seemed like I was inconveniencing her when she was just sitting on her phone. The employee read the words on the bag for me like I couldn't read, I just wanted to know which was healthier for my kitten but all she said was "one has more protein". Then when I went to check out, she was sitting at a register that was not logged in and she was on her phone again so I asked "Do I check out here with you?" And she said "Yeah...this is the register?" Like I was an idiot. It did not make me feel welcome at all and I really wish someone else who was actually knowledgeable had helped me. I've worked at other Petco locations previously in the past year and this is definitely not how I would be treated at other stores.

I had to stop in quick for cat food, I had a friend waiting at my house and didn’t want to take too long. When I get to the cashier, he kept pressing me and pressing me for my phone number and wouldn’t let me say no. I rejected him about four times and told him I didn’t care if I could save a dollar, I needed to go I was in a rush. He paid no kind to that and kept pushing me. He then said, can I just make up a random number for you to put in, I said whatever I just need to go. I then had to wait for him as he tried to think of a random number I would be able to memorize. So I asked again, please just skip it. And he finally did, he was aggravated for the rest of the transaction. This happened this summer, and it still bothers me when I walk into the store and the people are always pushing for my number.

I ONLY came there as it was handy for my daughter to buy some toys for a foster cat. I vowed NEVER to shop there myself, as my last encounter was horrible. They did not honor their cat food replacement policy and the saleslady was quite rude about it. This visit--for my daughter to shop for cat toys--was equally bad as the cashier said it would be 10 cents for a bag for the toys! UNBELIEVABLE. This store is the WORST.

Natalia in the grooming department at Petco in Burnsville; I can't say enough about her. She's absolutely fantastic. She can do miracles. My Great Pyrenees, Zeus, gets matted due to layers of fur and she makes him look like a brand new dog. I'd recommend her to anyone that needs grooming for their pets.

We got what we needed and the woman who helped us the cashier took extra care that our husky who was scared and sensed this and she sat down on the floor to give him a treat. Just went above and beyond. We told our neighbors whole have pets and this kind of thing will spread. Dog parents will be coming there instead of your competitors. Great job to her on excellent service for us and our husky.
