Elm Creek Singletrack Trailhead is a fun and scenic area with fabulous, endless paths for hiking and mountain biking. It is one of the favorite trails in Minnesota, offering a spectacular and very well-maintained route. The trail is a mixed bag of tech, flow, and midwest bike park fun, suitable for any skill level. It is easy for beginners with a not very difficult route, while also providing enough technical areas and exclusive parts for advanced and expert riders. The trails are in great shape, well-signposted, and feature lots of trail building, particularly berms to maintain speed, along with scattered jumps dialed for blue riders. The park is a great place for outdoor activities, with wide multi-use paths perfect for hiking with dogs. The trailhead includes a toilet, though there is no running water. Parking is plentiful, though the lot can get full when super busy, and it is a nice place to tailgate. The route is more than 12 miles long and offers several return accesses to the parking lot. It is a fun place to ride year-round, day or night, with the cool experience of finishing a tour in the dark using lamps. Visitors highly recommend it as an awesome, well-maintained, and scenic destination.
