“The Guys at Skips (recently acquired by Golden Vally Tire) were friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The oil change on my vehicle was done in a timely manner. Prices are reasonable. They are remodeling the front customer area , it should be a great functional space when complete ! I will definitely go back when I am in need of auto repairs. “I want to share my experience. I came here for an oil change, but since I had a new car, the system showed a different model and by mistake the wrong filter was installed. It was late in the evening and everything was done in a hurry. As a result, when I drove to another state, oil started leaking, which turned into a serious problem. It was cold outside, and every 20–25 minutes I had to stop and add more oil until we made it. At another shop they discovered the issue, it was just the wrong filter. They fixed it and the car worked fine again.
When I came back to Minnesota and explained the situation, this shop completely reimbursed me for all the oil I had to buy on the road. I was really impressed by their customer service. Everyone makes mistakes. What matters most is how a company handles them.
Since then I have already done 3 or 4 more oil changes here and everything has been perfect. Special thanks to Ryan. He is someone who stands behind his work, admits mistakes and keeps improving the service. I truly trust this place and gladly give them 5 stars. Thank you for caring about your customers.”

“I came here because I needed ignition coils Installed on my truck, The service was fairly quick, and the part was quickly delivered to the Jiffy Lube location, The conversation was great. Sadly, I did see a pregnant woman working and doing oil changes. Personally, if I were pregnant, I wouldn’t be working on cars or engines or near chemicals. But you never know what someone is going through and how much they need the money. And the pregnant woman is the manager there. Of course, there are laws saying that they cannot fire pregnant women. But I do think it’s unfair that she has to breathe in the chemicals.”

“The price of my oil change wasn't to bad, I did use a coupon, like just about everyone else does to make it affordable. It's the cost of the add ons that hurts your pockets the most. I would love to have gotten everything done they recommended and I would have been looking at hundreds upon hundreds of dollars. What I appreciated was that no one was pushy about doing any of the additional services recommended. They just letting me know what was found and advised I could come in at any point to get done, even just for one or two of those services that had been mentioned.”
“I've been going to this Valvoline for 10 plus years and they are always good to me. They tell you about things that can/ should be done but if you don't want to do it on that visit they are never pushy or try to hard sell you. Fast, honest and well priced.
Update 10/6/25: I already gave this place a 5 star years ago but they keep giving excellent service and they are so friendly. Honestly, this place is in my top 5 of any service, in any field, ever.”

“Everything was almost great , but was too costly.. Also, I was told my transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles. Thank God, i did not do it. When I got ĥome , I read my manufacturer's handbook. It said transmission fluid needs to be changed every 150,000 miles under normal driving conditions. Also Valvoline suggests an oil change with semi-synthetic oil every 3000 miles. Manufacturers handbook says between 5000 and 8000 miles. What's the deal?”

“It was OK. I usually am very pleased with the guys doing my oil change, but there’s new staff. I had to ask them to Check my tires and put washer fluid in my container, And I asked why on my dash it was telling me that I needed an oil change now? Before the due date and before the mileage on my sticker and they couldn’t answer me. They were kind they were professional, but they didn’t follow through on the oil change this time”

“I get oil changes here and I got my windshield wipers replaced the other day. At first I had a bad experience because the windshield wipers streaked. I got upset about it because I could barely see out of the window. I came there and we figured out that the plastic you have to take off before use was still on them. I felt bad and the guy even gave me windshield blades for my trouble. I think these people are actually pretty nice so I wanted to write a positive review.”
