Feed My Starving Children is a Christian non-profit that provides nutritionally complete meals for malnourished children. Volunteers hand-pack the meals, which are donated to partners around the world to feed kids and save lives. It is a great cause and very well run, with a system that is neat, clean, and well-organized. Packing sessions are fun and for a very important and worthy cause, making it a great activity for work groups, birthday parties, and others. A little bit of your time can make a big difference. The location also features a gift shop with a nice selection of super cute handmade crafts and apparel to further support the cause.
Our family enjoys this volunteer activity several times a year. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. Great gift shop for unusual items, jewelry, yard & garden, homegoods, and clothing. Ample parking lot.
