Unprofessional, Unresponsive, and Evasive — Avoid Interstate Roadrunner
My vehicle was assigned to Interstate Roadrunner by Auto Relocation Management (ARM) for transport from Minnesota to California. What followed was an extremely disappointing experience marked by last-minute scheduling, poor delivery conduct, and a completely dysfunctional claims process.
Pickup & Delivery: Poor Communication and Zero Professionalism
As I had to leave MN before the car was shipped, I arranged for it to be picked up at my parent's house. Despite repeated requests to ARM for clear pickup and delivery windows, Roadrunner gave just 45 minutes’ notice (during a 2 day window) for both legs of the transport. My mother had to turn around mid-drive to meet the driver at pickup. On delivery, the driver refused to bring the vehicle to our home, dropped it on the next street over, and simply held out a phone for a signature—no walk-around, no inspection, no courtesy. To make things worse, my husband managing a toddler and a newborn, had to scramble out of work meetings and rush to the bank because Roadrunner insists on being paid in cash.
The Damage: Rushed Delivery, No Inspection, and Clear Evidence
When I returned from a work trip I was on when the car was delivered, I found the vehicle clearly damaged. It had been parked since delivery and recorded by our home security system the entire time. The issue was undeniable and promptly reported to ARM. After pressing them, I learned that Roadrunner had taken delivery photos that clearly showed the damage—yet made no effort to share or acknowledge them until I escalated the issue.
The Claims Process: Empty Promises and Stonewalling
Once ARM connected me directly with Roadrunner, the situation only worsened. I submitted photos, two estimates, and followed up repeatedly. I was told a check was approved. Then that it was “being processed.” Then that it “would be mailed.” But no one could provide a mailing date, a tracking number, or even confirmation that a claim had been formally filed.
It’s now been nearly 60 days, and I still have no check. Just a screenshot of a bank payment scheduled a week from now that may or may not actually arrive. I finally contacted their insurance company directly, and—unsurprisingly—they had no record of any claim ever being submitted by Roadrunner.
Bottom Line
Roadrunner operates with no transparency, no professionalism, and no urgency. They communicate via a Gmail account, require cash payments, and treat damage claims like a nuisance. Their evasive behavior has left me managing the process entirely on my own, with no real support, just delays and excuses.
Unless you’re prepared to hound them for weeks, handle your own claims, and be paid (maybe) only after escalating repeatedly—avoid Interstate Roadrunner. It’s just not worth the risk.

Company consistently parks in front of houses in my neighborhood (no parking zones) - which blocks off sight lines and causes dangerous traffic situations for hours at a time. Have talked to the company and drivers, they just ignore and come back day after day.
