Our entire process from start to finish with Peak was exceptional and top notch.
We got a couple of quotes, including one through the membership services of a club retailer. The quote from Peak was comparable to the great membership deal, and we got better equipment!
The installation was great. Josh, Caleb, and Jason are courteous, professional, efficient, and genuinely the nicest guys.
We had a big job replacing the 30 year old furnace and AC units, and running new duct for our dryer. In the beginning of the installation day the space looked like chaos, but by the end they had the space looking awesome and in better shape than when they arrived. They gave us a great tutorial inside and out on the system and maintenance.
5 stars does not do justice to our experience with Peak!

Will was so helpful to work with! I did have to have him out twice because I’m too stubborn to allow somebody else to do work I could (or thought I could) do myself. A follow up review: After 35 years the original air conditioner compressor died with its boots on. The technician was there immediately and tried all efforts to resuscitate it but it was time to replace. It was 96 degrees.The important element in this review is that the folks at Peak owned the whole process. Despite the fact that I was delayed in confirming the unit I wanted, and I delayed in the small business of choosing financing -- the urgency never moved. I am grateful that I could continue with my day to day priorities and the air conditioner guys were going to solve the air conditioner problem.They installed it immediately and the date never slipped despite my best efforts to screw it up. My wife returned from the cabin to a house that was already cooling down and I got to keep my job in more ways than one.--------After hours response was very prompt. We had a minor issue with our air conditioning unit and I was able to get a callback from after hours support in less than half an hour as well as several helpful suggestions from a different technician via email. It was by no means an emergency situation but it was appreciated on a muggy night.Service: HVAC system repair

Peak Heating & Cooling did a fabulous job installing a Carrier Infinity Zone Heat Pump/AC, Furnace system. The quality of the installation was impeccable. Great attention to detail even with the foil taping, joint sealant and drainpipes. Peak was very responsive to all questions throughout the purchase process and after installation. Importantly, they help you find the equipment to meet your needs and do it right. For example, no other contractor recommended and included turning vanes for the return air which greatly increases the system performance and air filtration.I did a lot of research and the Carrier zoning system, especially combined with variable speed equipment, is the best you can get. Our two-story home with walkout has excellent temperature control throughout. The low ambient temp heat pump allows you to cool your upstairs BRs in the fall and spring after upstairs temps climb through warm days whereas normal AC can’t cool as they shouldn’t operate below 60F. You’ll have your HVAC system 20+ years so it’s definitely worth it to spend the extra money to enjoy the comfort of the pinnacle of heating and cooling systems. 100% thumbs up for Peak!Services: Installation

They saved me 3K!When my 18year old heater went out I called another well known HVAC company in the area. They were very prompt and professional but gave me a quote that seemed high. I called Peak and they quoted $3,000 less for the same equipment and service. They came out promptly, installed the new furnace and removed the old one. They left the work area in better shape than they found it and the install was super clean. The final price was not a penny more than the quote they gave over the phone. When your heater goes out in MN in the winter you are stuck. Glad there is a company out there that not only does great work , but also has integrity.Service: Heating system installation

We hired Peak to install a gas heater in our garage in Fall 2021. Their team was awesome. They arrived on time, clearly communicated their plan for install with me, consulted me on my preference for the location of both the thermostat/heater control and heater itself, and walked me through the basics of how to use it when they finished the install. When they learned the primary use was for heating the space for a garage gym through the winters, they programmed an auto-fan setting so I could have airflow in the summers, too. It was a thoughtful touch on Peak's part (I'm sure easy to do but still - the extra mile/thought wasn't required) and stuck out in my mind.18 months later, I use the heater every day between Nov-Mar and it's been nothing but reliable and easy to use.Thank you, Peak Heating & Cooling!Services: Heating system installation

Junior tech comes out to look at the garage heater. The controller board is blinking a code, indicating it is the valve or a sensor.Tech says "must be the controller board, that will cost $500". I tell him to go away after asking a couple questions. He had no idea what it was.Someone else replaced the valve (without touching the controller board) for about $100.Nope, find another company or expect overpriced repairs!!!
