This is a friendly Wells Fargo location.

Terrible customer service. Wouldn’t waive a fee for a cashiers check and I’ve been banking here for over 20 years.

Since when does a guy need an appointment to do basic banking? The pandemic was over long ago, yet this place uses it as an excuse to understaff. Our other banks are so much easier.

After years and years of really bad service at Wells Fargo.. I found Glen at this branch. So helpful so responsive! He is my go to at Wells from now on!

Need to be retrained in customer service. Very arrogant stuff.

I needed a basic form notarized, I arrived at the branch 5 minutes before closing. They spent more time explaining why they would not notarize the form so close to closing than it took for the banker (at US Bank in the Byerlys store) across the street to notarize the form.

Some of the staff there are nice and some are just cold like a robot. The greetings at door makes me welcomed and acknowledge. One even mention, "welcome back", as he only worked with me once for a brief moment a month ago. He was talking to one of his peers, he took 3 seconds to pause what he was doing to greet. 10* goes to you buddy. Rating is missing 3 stars because I felt one or two staff can work on a presences and listening. On Presences, vocal tone did not felt warm and welcoming especially coming from Simon. I felt like I was a bother to him and felt as if he had something else better to do. That tone of voice of superiority was what I felt from him. Readers might think I'm making this up or find this mad. This is how I felt when I left the Wells Fargo in Chanhassen. As for listening, every time I ask for a withdrawal out of my account, I always mention that i don't have a card nor a pin and I only have a savings. I present my ID or passport. WHY am I ALWAYS asked 2 times if I have a debit card or ATM card after the information that I just gave.

I really like this Wells Fargo location. I am amazed at how well treated I am when I go in there. They really understand customer service. I have been a Wells Fargo customer since 2005. For contrast I had visited another bank (RBCU) and had a pretty terrible experience, enough to make me want to write a review as soon as I got home. But I really think the people at the Chanhassen Wells Fargo go out of their way to treat customers well and this should be recognized, because it is not like this everywhere. Reading the other reviews for this location was kind of funny. In my experience, I have nothing but good things to say about my visits to this bank.

No privacy there

When withdrawing 300 the teller said the following: " oh I see you have a new account", " why aren't you doing a direct deposit", " what do you do for a living"×2. Something is seriously wrong with this bank. When I called with my concerns the manager defended the tellers questions and said she was just trying to get to know me better. NO WORDS.

The second I walked into the bank my privacy was gone. I was greeted by an employee and she immediately asked me what I was doing there in front of a lot of other customers. It was very odd to me. Two more customers came in after me and the employee did the same thing to them and then proceeded to ask one of them how much was the check he was depositing. Going to the bank is supposed to be confidential about what you are doing with your account, and the fact that the employee was making everyone's private matters public was not okay.

On February 2018 I came into the bank to do a balance transfer and apply for a new 0% interest credit card. I saw the banker named Humaira Imran who was helping me do such a thing.

Every time you walk in here, they have an employee standing there that asks you "what brings you in today?" I keep it simple. I say to see a teller. Well they then ask for specifics on what brings me in today, and when they ask they do not do it privately. Meaning that not only the employee but everyone inside the bank will hear my business. Where has my privacy gone? Also what I dislike is when you go up to a teller to get cash, you have to do the work. You cannot just go in with your card and pin and say I need a roll of quarters. You have to select which account, what your doing, how much, receipt etc. If you live in the Twin Cities I would reccomend US Bank. Thats where I'm going. I do not recommend this branch nor company to ANYONE.
