I had recently an unspeakably negative experience with your shelter and the foster that I worked with. I am baffled as to how it went. I'm sure the animals are fine, and I wish them well, but beware of the shelter and its personnel.

They take excellent care of the animals. The kitten I adopted was healthy and well socialized. The website is not kept up to date, which made it difficult to find a pet. However, the staff were very responsive and helpful.
The pets are costly, but you are actually paying for their spay/neuter and vaccinations, which is reasonable.

They didn't have the service I requested, but they referred me to four local vet clinics that do the service I requested. That was a great referral and customer service experience.

We fell in love with a sweet kitten that we saw on their page, filled an application and was responded to very quickly. Our kittens foster mom was super sweet and we could tell she was well loved! Process and payment was online and super easy! We will definitely come back for our next furry friend!

Adopted an 8 month old kitten who likely had a rough start in life. But Carver County took such great care of her that she is doing wonderfully in my home. These people not only have alot of heart for the animals they care for but they know what they're doing. I highly recommend!
