We used Brian Haasken to rent a property, come to find out he added 2 months to a 12 month lease unbeknownst to us. We found this out this month and when we brought to Brian’s attention he was arrogant and self serving, he encouraged us to leave because he get paid again for the new renters. He also locked us into only being able to give notice for 3 months out of the year and he says he does this all the time. Be VERY cautious About what you are signing and READ everything in detail. I’ve never used a realtor for renting before, I would highly recommend avoiding this realtor for sure.

Was on the website checking out a house. Filled out a request for information. Someone texted me back right away but couldn’t answer my questions. Told he would have someone call me back. Never heard back. Over a week now. I am from out of town looking for a home. Good thing I know several other realtors because I need information in a timely manner.

Contacted Bryan Haasken about a rental property. The initial contact was good, he was on time, pleasant to deal with, and even was able to get me an earlier viewing than the original appointment. No complaints there, then.
So I submitted an application and paid the fee for it. But it's now nearly three weeks later and despite three separate attempts on my part to contact him, I've received no response. If the decision is made to not rent to me, that's fine; it's his property, and my money can go to someone else. (Especially since I've only recently returned to the US; so that could certainly be reasonable, even if I'd earlier been told related issues could be worked around.) But I don't think it's asking all that much to actually tell me something about what's going on, or not, when asked. Frankly a simple text would have been sufficient.

I am very disappointed in this realtor/appraiser. Nathan Haasken came out to our house for a second showing, his first time seeing the house. The highly interested buyers came alone the first day and he came alone on the second showing. He stated to the buyers that all the windows should be replaced and would be around $150,000.00. This scared the buyers away. All the windows with the exception of 2, which were caulked shut since the previous owner, in the entire house are in very good shape. I was a housing inspector for over a decade and had never run across this where a realtor/appraiser would give out a high exaggerated price for windows or any health/safety structural/mechanical issue of a home, which is not his expertise and scare the buyer away.

Christy Schuler was amazing! As first-time buyers, we were super overwhelmed, but she made everything feel doable. She was patient, honest, and really cared about helping us find the right place. She was exceptional at staying in touch with everyone on our team and kept things moving smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to have on our side. Would recommend again and again.

I was using them to find a home rental. Was shown two properties, paid $300 deposit (other places charged $25) and then never heard from them again. I messaged the realtor a week later and got a message saying “the owners still haven’t decided, I will 100% message you tomorrow” I never heard from him again. A week later I said I was no longer interested. They took the $300 and ran. Very disappointed as there was no communication at all. Not even when I messaged no longer interested

how do you give zero stars ?. The rental lady Angela is the worst rental lady in the whole wide world. If at all possible stay away and save you the grief and rath of her as the company rep for rentals.

Worst experience ever. Horrible communication Horrible work, ended up having to follow up multiple times when we were told tasks were completed and they weren't. I should've listened to the last review I saw because this was exactly that experience. Disrespected me and would only reply to my significant other. Do not use.

Don't buy from *** and **** Haaskens or any of them at chestnut realty in ******, they are a bunch of hacks , and horrible realtors, the houses they try to sell you are garbage and have tons of issues, and they will sell you a pile of s*** wrapped in a nice package, be careful these guys are dirty, *** and **** are in it for the fat commission checks ( your money ) he treats customers like s*** and does not care about anyone but himself , how did these guys get their brokers license ? money hungry Realtors that take advantage of people.

Dishonest, money hungry, flat out tainted snake. His uncle/ Broker hands him a job and behind his uncles back, Bryan brags about how many sales he and his dad have over his uncle's own children, who also work for the company. Lies to get the sale and lock you in. This guy is a snake. Stay away!
