Really not pleased with my experience this time around. Documents and all the information year over year seem to have changed. The tax preparer not including my kid at first then not having my property information even though it’s in the system. Over $350 to file state and federal is highway robbery for little to no work being done and me uploading all the info. To plug numbers into a spreadsheet and get paid that much should be illegal. Not going to be doing business going forward with H&R Block and not a chance I would recommend. Loved them for 2023, lost a customer and recommendation for life.

2022 taxes were prepared by Masud Mamun. I found out from the IRS in May 2024 that my 2022 taxes were not filed. No return calls or emails from Masud. Finally got an appt to refile taxes. Masud had not explanation or apology for taxes not being filed. Masud was supposed to submit a refund of tax filing fee after approval from branch manager, which he received, but never submitted and again would not respond to emails or calls. Finally got another branch to file refund. Now I am dealing with IRS penalties for late filing. No longer doing business with H&R Block.

Had an appointment date set. When I showed up they told me they double booked my time. Had to reschedule and take time off work to come back. Very unprofessional.

The front desk was a 10! Very sweet and friendly. However, do NOT schedule with Mark Gness. He is condesending. Would not answer my question s and put me down several times for not understanding. Talks so you can't understand him, even after asking him if he can talk clearly. He didn't care about my feelings whatsoever.

Worst experience ever. I had a ton of detailed files, receipts, and folders. All clearly labeled and should have been used for deductions. Masud, who did my taxes, didn't care/want to see any of them. HR Block charged me over $400 for someone to do my taxes in under 15 minutes. It was an absolute joke and failure of their "services."I will NEVER got back to HR Block again. What a waste of money... not to mention how much I'm paying in to the gov't now because Masud couldn't wait to get to the next person in line.0 out of 5 stars
