Brad and his crew exceeded our expectations at every level! After getting three quotes for a large maintenance-free deck, it was clear that we would go with Iron River Construction. Brad is knowledgeable about the products, he wasn’t pushy with the sale, and is professional. He was very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The crew that built our deck was awesome; they cleaned up every day and left no debris, all while being professional (yet playful when our 2 year old couldn’t help but watch them work through the window!). Jesse, Jason, Adam, Josh, Wyatt, Garret, Luke, Tyler, and Karsen all worked so efficiently that our neighbors were asking us for the Iron River business card after day 1! We love being able to enjoy this space now and highly recommend using Iron River Construction for your next deck project.

Big shout-out to Alex Buckentine and Iron River Construction!! We just finished our kitchen remodel project and to say we're excited with the end results would be an understatement.
Alex was such a pleasure to work with from the initial consultation back in January through the final reveal now here in August. Alex listened carefully to our needs and preferences and provided expert guidance throughout the design process. When the project officially kicked off in July, he kept us informed every step of the way and promptly addressed our questions or concerns.
The craftsmanship and attention to detail in the finished space are truly impressive. Our new kitchen exceeds our expectations, and we’re grateful to Alex, Iron River, and everyone we worked with along the way that helped bring our vision to life! Looking forward to working with them in the future.

I had a deck replaced by Iron River Construction and the entire process from beginning to end was fantastic! Jeremy came out to kick off this project and stayed in constant contact from beginning to end! Great Price, high quality construction was provided by an elite carpentry staff which includes Jason, Adam, Garret, Luke, Karsen, Tyler and Josh! These guys were amazing, super friendly, kept a clean job site and a joy to have on this project. I would highly recommend Iron River for any construction job on your home big or small. I know they will be my go to from now on! Thank you Iron River Construction!

Our project manager, Jeremy,
and the team of carpenters (Jesse, Adam, Jason, Wyatt, Karsen, Garret, Luke, & Tyler) did a fantastic job replacing our deck with TimberTech decking and Westbury Tuscany posts and railings. We couldn’t be happier with the work and end result. We would use Iron River Construction again.

I had a GREAT experience with Iron River. Brad B was a really good resource through the process. Helping me decide on size, stair location, colors, etc. was something I got little to no help on when I got other bids. They were affordable and efficient and even came back when the deck was finished to make sure everything was perfect/fix some minor hiccups I would’ve never noticed. Highly recommend!

These guys were great! I reached out to several companies when we decided in the Fall of 2023 to have a deck put on our house. Only two replied - one was Jeremy from Iron River. The other (I won't give the name - I am sure they're nice) sent a sales guy who came with no examples of product until I asked him to show us - he was really only a salesman. Jeremy brought samples of the railing, the decking material, and pictures from other projects. He spent time explaining what they would do and listened to what we were wanting. This changed a few times and Jeremy didn't flinch but rolled with my alterations until we landed on an ideal plan. He told us he was not just the salesman but also the project manager and proved it by showing up at least once a week during the build. He was involved in addressing all aspects which was super comforting as I've had some bad experiences with disjointed communication between sales persons and workers. Now...the crew Jason, Jesse, Josh, Adam, Wyatt, Luke, and Garrett again, they were great - super respectful and didn't get annoyed when I would check in everyday with what they were doing - I did bake them cookies so that may have helped : ). I work from home and they were willing to accommodate me when I needed a bit more quiet. One thing I truly appreciated was they themselves seemed to work well together. And unlike many other construction crews - did not have a super loud radio to disturb me OR my neighbors (who actually commented on how pleasant and unusual that was). We are SO SO happy with our deck and have been spending a great deal of time out there. Oh - we got the rain escape so the patio under the deck stays dry in the rain (unless it's super windy). This has been a fabulous investment and one we will enjoy from many years to come. Thank you!

Had a great experience working with Iron River. Brad was awesome about keeping us informed with the status of the project and communication in general. The team worked quickly and kept work area tidy and organized. Jason, Adam, Garrett and Wyatt were all such friendly people and incredibly hardworking. Really felt they cared about the quality of the work. Wouldn't hesitate to have them do other projects in our home - probably the first time I have said that about any company I have had out to help with home remodel projects!

We would like to wholeheartedly recommend Iron River Construction. We hired them to replace our deck, and added a second project after seeing the quality of their work. We could not be more satisfied with their work and the crew who helped us: Brad, Jesse, Jason, Adam, Josh, Wyatt, Luke, and Garret.

My husband and I were excited to have a new deck built on our house this spring but we had no idea who to hire. We had decided to get three estimates and my husband found Iron River through a google search. Shortly after that we met with the project manager, Brad. Brad was very nice and thoroughly explained how the entire process would work. He patiently answered many questions and after Brad left we both agreed that we got a good vibe from meeting him but still needed more estimates. We got a second estimate and after the contractor left we both looked at each other and said, "Let's go with Iron River and Brad". We didn't even look for a third option.
That was the BEST decision!
Brad's crew were not only fast and hard working, they were so incredibly nice!! Jesse, Jason, Adam, Josh, Wyatt, Luke, and Garret were a joy to be around. I work from home and could often hear them in good spirits while still maintaining a fast pace with the project. Every day I was in awe of how fast, efficient, and hard working this crew was. Also, they left our backyard immaculate. They were very careful and considerate of our property.
Brad was also very present in his project management. He was a perfectionist and tended to every detail. We really appreciated that! We felt that our project was important to him.
Our patio turned out absolutely beautiful and I cannot recommend Brad, his wonderful crew, and Iron River enough!!

Andy and his crew from Iron River Construction did an exceptional job replacing my roof due to hail damage. Andy made the process painless and worked with my insurance company, which was a total pain to deal with, but he was happy to handle it. Some roofing companies do a really poor job with the install and cleaning up after the work has been completed. Iron River went the extra mile to make things look great! I can't recommend them enough 5/5. Andy really went the extra mile to ensure a wonderful experience with Iron River.

Iron River replaced my deck. They did a terrific job. Jeremy, the project manager, was timely in meeting with me, fully explained my options for the deck, and then when I chose to go with them, explained the process and timing. When the deck was replaced (with TimberTech Harvest, PVC decking+Westbury Tuscany railing), the crew, Jason, Adam, Wyatt and Luke, were timely, dedicated, quick, and professional. They were very detail oriented, including with the clean-up. I am very pleased with how my deck came out and excited to enjoy it for many, many summer evenings! Highly recommend.

I certainly trust the work and integrity of this female owned operation. Deck building masters, renovators and skilled jack of all trades! Wish they served the New Ulm area, I’d give Wyatt many solid business leads to bring to his team.
