Security Bank has been my personal bank as well as the bank for our firm for many years now. I am very pleased with the way they take care of us and we love having a "small town bank" experience as opposed to dealing with large publicly traded banks where you never know who you are going to get on the phone. I love being able to call Kevin and get answers directly. I wouldn't bank anywhere else.

They wouldn’t give me a roll of quarters because I wasn’t a customer. I’ve literally never heard of a bank refusing to trade a $10 bill for a roll of quarters.

I worked with Kevin Hegland on a small loan and the attention to detail and premium customer service was amazing!!! I highly recommend working with this bank.

Too bad there is no lower rating. I had a check payable to me, drawn on Security Bank. I attempted to cash the check and Tyler Miller, assistant vice president, said they would not honor the amount of the check, they would keep $20 as a fee. That is not right, their customer wanted me to have the full amount and not honoring the amount of the check is dishonest and bad service to their customer.Tyler Miller is of questionable character, giving his bank a 5 star rating.
