“I was covering a black, chalkboard paint, wall and wasn't sure how to handle it. She took the time to research a bit and give me great recommendations on how to tackle it with the proper primer and paint. I knew coming here would be better than a big box store. The transition from black to pink went really well - ha! THANK YOU!”
“This store has gone out of their way to help me get what I wanted, even following up with a call weeks later. I'm very impressed and will continue to buy all of my paint from them.”

“These guys are rockstars. They were so patient and really helped me reach the paint colors I was looking to do for my kitchen cabinets and also walked me through wood finishes and stains for my flooring. They sat with me and looked over colors to help me find the exact right shade/ shine. I had come back at least four times with my complicated woes. What had taken me weeks to try and navigate on my own only took them a few visits. It was such a welcome relief to be done with that portion of my renovations. Rodney and Lance helped me through it. Seriously, great guys. Thank you so much for your help! So greatly appreciated.”
“This guy is an amazing salesperson. We truly appreciate his help. Even if I have a project in Apple Valley or Maple Grove, I still drive to this store because he works here. Please award him a $1,000 bonus on top of his salary. People like him bring real growth to your business and your company. Don’t lose him.”
“Rachel has helped with two window coverings at my home, and both are beautiful. Her service is excellent. She considers my requests and concerns thoughtfully and helps in choosing the right window covering for my home. Scott has installed both window coverings and does a wonderful job--another excellent service by Hirshfields Roseville! Thank you both.”
“I was very impressed with the staff and their knowledge on product/application and pricing and I got a, " No not a good idea", to confirm he knew what he was talking about. I tried getting a contractor discount and I was told everyone gets the same price and he had a complete list of qualified installers and even someone who prep the concrete. I will apply my own epoxy, but the concrete sanding/prep is tempting.”
“Very knowledgeable staff and offered great suggestions for our choice of paint types.Very quick and actually took our old paint to recycle on the color match items. Sales associate helped bring our order to the car!”
“Awesome business with a great staff and good selection of products. Lake has helped me numerous time and continues to be a great resource for all my coating needs, highly recommend.”
“My go to paint store! I’m always greeted right away, and the staff are incredibly helpful. I’ve been in several times recently on my own as a new homeowner, and never once felt like any of my questions were dumb.
They helped me figure out exactly what kind of paint to use and how much I needed to color drench my living room. Samples are affordable, and the last few visits even had great discounts.
I was especially grateful when someone suggested adding 25% white to the Sherwin-Williams Moroccan Spice shade I loved but felt was slightly too dark for my 1920s home’s original woodwork. That recommendation was perfect! It kept the moody vibe I wanted without overpowering the character of the space.
I can’t sing this location’s praises enough. I’ll definitely be back, I still have six more rooms to paint!”
“Dan at the Fridley location was so helpful and friendly. We typically shop at big box stores but wanted help choosing the right color and formula for our basement. He went above and beyond helping us and even helped entertain our toddler. Thanks again!”
“I happened to go in looking for a discontinued blade for my 40 year old Honda lawn mower. Madeling, who was back there in the parts department, took the time and effort to find the right blade for my application. The service was outstanding and so the next time I need parts for any of my mowers, I know exactly where to go!”
“I am an estimator with Headwaters Painting. Cory and his team have been critical to our success at Headwaters Painting over the past year. We appreciate the help, professionalism, and product knowledge this store offers. Anything we need they find a solution for!
We have ordered paint ranging from a single quart to thousands of gallons at a time for commercial projects. No matter the project size, each order has arrived on time, exactly how we need it, sundries included.
They have helped special order spray tips, unique drop cloths, custom color match, and work together with our rep Dan Osiecki to truly take care of us. The entire team is great at this location.
We appreciate you guys!!”

“I can not say enough positive things about the workers at this location. Every time I pop in, they have always been super informative and helpful with which type of paint will be the most appropriate for my project.
Today I was there for almost an hour but I was able to stock up on about 8 gallons of exactly what I needed.
I really appreciate the help!!!”
