Wife and I were looking at a few different ice castles, but ultimately landed on one from here mostly due to the knowledge and low pressure dealings with kallen. He took the time to show us what we came in to see, all the whole listening to what we wanted in a fish house/camper. Ultimately he suggested one that fit our needs perfectly that was not on our list, and we ended up taking it home! Finance was also a breeze, they had everything ready for us when we came on our second visit, making it a very simple, yet thorough process. Overall enjoyed the entire experience

We had a great experience buying a camper at Outlet Recreation. Craig was extremely helpful and patient throughout the entire process. We really appreciated the flexibility and willingness to figure out solutions throughout the entire experience.

Worst service technicians. Got my brand new gray wolf camper. Brought it home and the slider didn't work. Had to bring it back and a week later Brought it home worked for a day. Made them come and get it to fix. To this day still doesn't work properly. Then the awning motor failed. Thank God they were able to replace that.. Now this weekend got all set up and water pump didn't work. Called them and without any troubleshooting they told me it's needed to be replaced. Called another place and we trouble shooted over the phone and we're able to fix it in 5 minutes.

I bought a 2020 ice castle limited toy hauler in October of 2024 and was lied to, completely ripped off and rushed out the door because the salesman Joe had somewhere to be. I was sent down the road after signing papers thinking it was inspected and happy I made it home safe not knowing it wasn’t inspected. The frame is bent, Right tire was very low, bulge in the siding on the left side, a hole by the rear door that was covered up by a sticker, Brake controller plug was completely rusted out and just put back in to look like it was attached which fell out on my way home luckily the brakes didn’t lock up because it was so rusted, left side bearings were bad, king tv antenna had been taken off and a whole bunch of silicone was put on the roof to cover the hole, there was rust on the frame after I specifically asked Joe to check before I put down a $2000 down payment. He sent me a video of places where there wasn’t rust and said the frame is rust free. I shouldn’t trust people but I always give people the benefit of the doubt. I have almost wrote a review quite a few times but didn’t because I was the idiot who trusted these people. Saw an outlet recreation ad today, got pissed and decided to write a review. Edit: Outlet recreation contacted me and tried to bribe me with $250 to take my review down. I am just trying to help people not make the same mistake I made I don’t take bribes but thanks for the offer!

Four weeks after purchasing a 220hp Sea Ray from Outlet Recreation, I contacted the dealership to inquire about trading it in for a smaller pontoon. After using the boat, I realized it was more powerful and larger than I needed. They agreed to take it in on trade, but the offer was $7,000 — which is over $5,000 more than the price difference between my Sea Ray and the pontoon. That seems unusually steep, especially considering the boat was purchased from them just four weeks earlier.
During the back-and-forth regarding the trade-in, I had to pay over $600 out-of-pocket to replace the bellows, as the boat had been taking on water from day one. Prior to purchasing the Sea Ray, I asked about warranty options and was told a 12-month warranty would be available for approximately $1,500. However, when I returned to finalize the paperwork, I was informed the warranty could not be offered after all.
Given the fact that the boat had a significant issue from the start and the sudden reversal on the warranty, I now question whether the dealership may have known about the problem before the sale.

I have had multiple travel trailer rentals and generator rentals from outlet recreation. I have been very happy with the service and the flexibility that has been provided. Anytime there was a question it was answered and they work very hard to satisfy their customers and have always delivered above 100%! Thank you for the great service and attention to detail.

We went to Outlet Recreation in Clearwater, MN to check out a used castle. We met Craig Hiltner the sales manager. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He wasn’t pushy at all, he was the exact opposite. We went to look for a used unit but instead of shoving us in a castle right away, he asked us what we like to do. We mentioned ice fishing was our main passion but hiking and camping was something we love as well.. water package was a must. After spending an hour with us going through each used unit. He showed us a ton of new units as well. We ended up falling in love with the 2025 Outlander layout. What a great job guiding us through options and styles. Couldn’t recommend Craig enough. Top notch business.

Purchased a 17ft ice castle in April just picked it up after months of going back and forth with outlet recreations in Clearwater. I could not believe the customer service, it was horrible!!,, They would not take responsibility for the product they sold us kept passing it on to others. I would say buyer beware and check around to a dealer that stands behind their sales

Craig with Outlet Recreation was top notch sales person to make our first camping purchase fabulous! He is very friendly, detail oriented, and always wanted to make sure everything worked the way it should. If something needed to be fixed or repaired he took care of it. When you’re looking to buy a camper he is the GUY!
