Had a very poor experience with him as a umpire. Highly recommend you speak to a attorney prior to filing a appraisal process with insurance or you put your hands in people like David. Make sure you protect yourself, your life savings and consult a legal professional. Thats the only way to make sure you are represented fairly as no adjuster represents you as a consumer even though you hire and pay them.

Don't hesitate at all....if you are having problems settling a claim with your insurance company, call Twin City Public Adjusting immediately! We had storm damage to our roof/windows after a big storm in 2022, got different companies to look at our damage and then called our insurance company. Their adjuster came out and said roof was slightly damaged but not enough for replacement, and agreed our windows were damaged and would need replacement due to the age/sashes were no longer made to fit ours.Seemed OK to us so went ahead and got bids from 2 local window places, a roofing company, and sent to our insurance....they decided the amounts were very high and they wanted to send another company to bid the job. I replied I would not use the out of state place they were going to send....especially now with COVID/shipping/manufacturing problems going on at that time! They came anyway, agreed all windows except one needed replacement, but their bid was $30,000 less that either of the companies we got "legitimate bids" from!Weeks went on, insurance company very slow to return any calls.I contacted our state Dept of Commerce and made a complaint about the insurance company.....and they advised me to do an insurance appraisal process. They were very helpful also, went after our insurance company that same day, so not a bad idea to talk to them either. I'm glad I did!I should have done the appraisal process immediately, but an attorney friend recommended to hire an attorney to go over our claim, look at our insurance coverage, etc.....so I did. Waste of that money....I did most of the work! Then I contacted Twin City Adjusting and immediately was told what I needed to do, explained the process, what information/pictures to send them....David Linder was wonderful!I had saved everything so emailed all information, bids, pictures, whatever he needed. After several phone conferences/email requests, we finally had our date for the appraisal about 2 weeks later. Our adjuster David, the insurance company's appraiser, and an umpire were here and went over all of our windows and roof in about 1.5 hours.....and later that afternoon, we got the results of the appraisal. All windows except one will be replaced and the roof had a lot of damage that was also awarded! So, don't hesitate at all......call Twin City Public Adjusting and save yourself a lot of time/headaches/frustration/money and have it settled quickly! And thank you again, David Linder.....I can't tell you how many emails and phone calls were going back and forth (sorry, David!) but he always got back to me, answered all my questions, and truly I should have called them so much earlier!

I was having issues with our insurance company not being very responsive, explanatory & not wanting to use the correct cleaning codes. This homeowners claim falls under crime/trauma/tear gas & the insurance was gong with smoke damage codes, resulting in an unfair estimate that would never be enough to restore my home to pre-loss and certainly not cover repair, replacement & contents. We decided to hire David Linder. Our insurance company still ended up being extremely difficult to work with and David ended up needing to cancel our contract so that we could retain an attorney since things appeared to be going in that direction. Direct communication could've been better at times, but he's very thorough. I absolutely recommend Twin City Public Adjusting & David Linder if you find yourself in a similar situation.

Andy Merkle at Twin City Public Adjusting, LLC did an outstanding job with our homeowners claim. I was having difficulties dealing with out insurance adjusters and I was fed up. Our contractor Scott with Willet Remodeling & Construction, Inc, recommended Andy and we hired him. Right after hiring Andy our claim starting moving in the right direction. He reviewed our insurance coverages and found things we had no idea that we coverage for. He was able to out our personal property claim, helped with additional funds for tear down and removal, landscaping allowance and dealt with everything. I was able to focus on other family responsibility and left our claim process solely with Andy. I recommend Andy Merkle at Twin City Public Adjusting, LLC, fully and without reservation. I was truly impressed!

The adjuster Kevin Baker acted as the "umpire" in my appraisal. He found no damage on my roof due to hail. The damage was caused by 3 hail events last spring. The video I posted shows one of those events and the other 2 were worse. He is, in my opinion, inept at his job and possibly worse. Be careful. Note: This post represents an opinion and should be taken as such.

David was so great. I am a residential home owner and had a roof dispute. David explained to me the process, how he could help, and what I could expect. He then put me in touch with a local contractor who was also great to work with and who helped get the claim approved. Thank you!

Had a large fire in my home and insurance company was not willing to pay for everything. David and Kevin were a big help. They handled the issues very well and we were able to get our home put back together despite the insurance companies efforts to short change the cost to repair the property.
