“Worked with Todd on getting some work done on my Ram truck just above the tail light where its pretty much makes a round curve. Told me it would take about a week, drop off on Monday and pick up on Monday. Work went faster than they told me so I got to pick up my truck that Friday which saved me some money $$ which everyone like to save money. Did a fantastic on the corner!!!
Also, Todd helped me with working with my Insurance Company on two of my vehicles which ended up getting totaled.

“I ordered a set of 8 Motorcraft injectors for my 2011 Ford E250. They came on time, very nicely packaged, with test results showing each one was throughly tested before shipment and then sealed to prevent contamination. My van engine has never run so good. This company is the real deal.”

“I was amazed that they had the additive that I was looking for. They had to say that I was looking for was mso2 from liquamoly. They seem to be the only ones in Cloquet. The only ones that carry it and the only ones in the Cloquet/ proctor/ Duluth area that carry it. The store is really clean. The lighting is great. The only problem I have is one of the employees was having a bad day and when I walked in was swearing a mile a minute. Something to do with one of the registers not working correctly. I'll try to give him the benefit of the doubt and just say that he was having a bad day but still had I had my kids in there. I don't think that I would like to hear that. I don't remember the employee's name but one of the guys that works there. The additive I mentioned is incredibly hard to find in this area and I was bummed that when I got back to my vehicle later it had leaked all over the seats. Someone who stocked the shelves or in transport had damaged it and I lost about 1/4 of the additive all over my seats. Since the color of the additive is Molson black, I'm not sure if I'll ever get the saying out. Other than that it was a perfectly nice experience. They seem to have a wide selection, a nicely laid out sales floor. For the people that deal hunters like myself, the prices that I saw on the shelves were within $1 to $2 of what you would pay on Amazon or one of the major other shopping sites. The person that I checked out with was super nice. He was a younger guy that greeted me with a smile. Asked me if I found everything okay. You could tell this by the way that he spoke. He liked his job and seemed to be pretty proficient at it.”

“I've been going to this place for the last 25 years or more.
Everything i have ever dropped off and picked up has been above and beyond. From small engine stuff to big v8 stuff I've never had a problem with them ever.
I also love that it's a small family business with very friendly knowledgeable people. I recently found out the father retired i would have to say I'm going to miss seeing him around with future drop offs and pick ups. But the kids are good too, they all do very nice work. As long as there in business I know where I'm going. I have tried other machine shops in the past and they don't seem as good or seem to care like carlton machine does.
And anybody else posting a negative review makes me wonder what part of the story are they are withholding and not saying. 🤔”
