Highly recommend. Easy to work with (texting available), very friendly (Heather is great), and TRUSTWORTHY. Work was completed with exceptional quality. I have a basically brand new Suburban that experienced front end damage. They blended the red tri coat paint perfectly. The car looks even newer than before it was damaged. :) We are lucky to have such a great local body shop.

CARSTAR of Cold Spring was a dream to work with. They kept me up to date on every step of the way from the drop off, car rental, arrangements with the insurance, to pickup. Heather and Gary were my main contacts. I truly appreciate the explanation of each and every step. My car looked like new when I picked it up. Even the inside was cleaned! Thank you.

I’m absolutely disgusted with the service from CARTSAR Precision Collision Auto Body. My truck had some damage and I figured I’d keep my business local…man what a horrible idea. I took my truck in for a repair on a dented bed panel, and they charged me for 15 hours of labor, knowing full well the repair wouldn’t last. Why would they do this? I’m sure it’s because they figured they could make more money by throwing 15 hours of labor at something vs replacing the panel, mounting it, and painting it. They blatantly took advantage of me, failing to mention that the panel they were fixing was already rusting and would rust and bubble through the paint within a year.
It’s outrageous that a supposedly professional shop would knowingly let me spend a small fortune on a repair that was destined to fail. They should have been upfront about the limitations and suggested a more permanent solution. Instead, they chose to deceive me, prioritizing their profits over basic honesty and integrity.
Now, I’m stuck with a truck in worse condition than before and a huge bill to show for it. Their lack of transparency and care for their customers is appalling. From start to finish, I have felt bamboozled and it’s only been a major headache. I would not recommend this shop to anyone I care about. This place is a scam. Do NOT trust them with your vehicle—find a reputable shop that values honesty and quality work over ripping off their customers.

My 2024 Lexus got repaired by an absolutely wonderful group of perfectionists. The vehicle has been lovingly returned to be as it was coming of the Lexus assembly line. Precisions Collision means just that “PRECISION”.

very professional. Helped me with all the insurance stuff. They were done much sooner than I expected. This is the 3rd time we have had a car worked on at Carstar. We trust them and won't go anywhere else for body work.
