Incredible recycling center for such a small city area. Absolutely worth dropping goods off here and they take a ton of stuff. Staff is friendly and tries to be as helpful as possible. I am regularly thankfully for the existence and quality of the recycling center. Tax money very well spent.

These are the kindest and friendliest staff people you’ll find anywhere in this area. Always a very pleasant experience to go here, and it’s a recycling center to boot :-)

About Coon Rapids Recycling Center
Phones are not answered on Saturday at the drop-off center. Call during business weekdays to reach regular staff. Drop off is for residents of Coon Rapids and Anoka County only. Small business and residential recyclable items welcome. When recycling large items, please bring your own help. Staff is not allowed to lift or load large items. *Cold weather Policy: The recycling center will close if temperatures reach -10 or wind-chill reaches -25
