Pulled up to the drive through to get my 3 year olds amoxicillin at 657. Pharmacy closes at 7pm the gate at the drive through was already shut. I walked into the store where the manager immediately told me the pharmacy was closed. I looked at my watch and said it’s 658. He said they are closed. I walked back to the pharmacy where 5 staff members were all standing around. I asked to please pick up my daughter’s amoxicillin for her strep throat. I was laughed at and told we all already clocked out. I again looked at my watch it was still 658. I asked if the pharmacy closed at 658 or 7pm. I was treated terribly. Made to beg for my daughter prescription which was sitting right on the counter. Finally the pharmacist brought it over and slammed in on the counter and told me to keep it refrigerated. Now I understand it was close to closing however they weren’t closed. And their initial refusal to help me kept us all there longer and past 7pm vs if they would have just helped me normally when I walked in with 3 min to close. These employees are horrible and unprofessional. Uncaring about my sick child. Disgusting display of the worst customer service.

Longest wait ever for pharmacy. They close with no notice. Additionally, the girls typically have a huge attitude and are nasty to customers.

This place is an absolute dumpster fire. Constantly closed due to short staffing. You can't speak to someone on the phone. The system only let's you leave a message with a promise to call back within one hour. I called on Thursday and have had no response 5 days later. The surrounding local CVS locations are also dumpster fires. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. I would give it zero stars if I could.

This pharmacy is the worst ever! This location is often closed with Zero notice. The drive thru is sometimes operating, but a handwritten note taped to the window is informative. Went in over several days trying to pick up meds and left empty-handed. If CVS can't operate at full capacity, then close this location. Please, horrible service, horrible customer service, poor at best. Will be moving all my prescriptions elsewhere.

Can't get help from top to bottom. Trying to transfer my prescriptions to Walmart, because there is no one that can help at the 109th and University location. They don't notify you when your prescriptions are ready, called one in took 8 day's and I had to check on it , went to another CVS to see if they could help, he couldn't transfer for me but called the other location and the pharmacist basically told him she was to busy to help and took my info from him. That was over 3 weeks ago. I am now calling all 6 of my doctors to tell them what kind of service CVS is providing and asking them to transfer my prescriptions. This is funny seeing's how you people were calling me to try and get me to transfer my Cosentyx prescription to you which is a high dollar specialized prescription. You've totally lost my trust!

Wish I could give 0 stars! Cannot stand CVS as a company. Have been trying for 2 WEEKS to get my asthma and anxiety meds at this location… every time I go there PHARMACY IS CLOSED. If they are ever open long enough I am going to have them fax my meds to Walgreens even if it costs more money!

unbelievably terrible pharmacy. Call before going there as they don’t open on time and close for lunch breaks

I’m done with CVS. I’ve given them way too many chances. They keep sending me texts counting down the days for me to pick up from a closed pharmacy. 3x this week. Just permanently close the pharmacy CVS…stop wasting peoples fuel and time going to your closed pharmacy. I know how your corporate works and this is why I’m not surprised.

The place is basically not functioning, I assume because of being short staffed. They are closed during open hours regularly. They will not transfer my prescriptions out of there at my request or at the other pharmacy’s request. Won’t answer the phone. Won’t return voicemails. Avoid.

7/29/24 - called multiple times today and wasn’t getting a call back. You only get the option to leave a voicemail for someone in the pharmacy to return your call. After numerous calls and no response- I drove there and the pharmacy wasn’t even open for the entire day? Didn’t say that anywhere on a voicemail etc. Asked a CVS worker if they would be open tomorrow- she said she didn’t know and that she suggests I transfer my prescription somewhere else .. called corporate and they said that they called the store and that the store told them that the pharmacist called in and that they WOULD in fact be open tomorrow. Can’t trust that. Shouldn’t there be a back up plan for when a pharmacist calls in?

Highly annoyed that in this day and age with technology, the pharmacy DID NOT post in real time that they were closed today. No excuse for me to have to drive all the way there to the drive up and find a sign posted that they were closed. I am normally very pleased with this location, but I might need to consider transferring my prescriptions somewhere else.

Had an urgent need for a prescription and had it called in to this CVS at 5pm. Pharmacy hours were listed as closing at 7pm. Got there right after 5pm but the pharmacy was closed. The front desk person just shrugged. I then went to another CVS close by and explained situation. The pharmacist rolled his eyes a bit and said that isn’t the first time it’s happened. He filled my prescription immediately.
I went again to the university CVS another day and once again the pharmacy was unexpectedly closed. It is time for this location to close if they cannot keep it reliably staffed. People NEED their prescriptions and a pharmacy should be reliable.

I have been here three times this week to pick up my daughter's inhaler from the pharmacy and it's been closed during operating hours due to short staffing. This is the second time this has happened with a prescription I have had sent here. CVS is doing something wrong if they can't keep their pharmacies staffed during operating hours. My parents go to Walgreens and have never had that problem. I plan to call my doctor's office tomorrow to transfer over all my prescriptions. As a nurse, I can't believe how irresponsible a company CVS is to allow this to continue to happen. Frankly, it's unsafe patient care.
