I had the worst experience for the second time taking my car to this guy's workshop. I wouldn't want to say much but will never advise even my energy to visit this workshop. I guess the only thing they can do without having issues is an oil change.

Genuinely decent automechanic business. You'd think they'd have direct competition with the auto shop *right next to them*, but if you see the interactions between the owners, they are extremely friendly and even help each other, and I deeply respect that. They're a black-owned family business, and many of their customers are black, so if you want to support local shops in that sense, this business is great. Their reception and general store is clean and nice-looking. You can tell that this shop is the pride of whoever owns it. I admire people who have respect for their work. They even hired someone above retirement age as a worker, which is rare for a business of this sort. My only complaint is that some of their repair methods are... unconventional. They *do* work, but they might not be something you see in a traditional dealership shop. And the owner, can get a bit loud haha

I didn't know the owner Kenny but I knew the older man who goes by old soldier. My car was shaking pretty hard when I brake. Before coming here I had the diagnostic paperwork from Auto Zone which I showed Kenny. 1st he told me it was my breaks. We fixed that car still shaking. 2nd was my rotors, we fixed that car still shaking. 3rd was spark plugs and coil spring. Car still shaking. The last thing he did was replace my catalytic converter. He tried to make me pay almost 5,000 for parts on a 2011 Chevy. I found a cheaper one on ebay for 150.00 and he approved it to buy. After my vehicle was fixed, he called and texted me to pick it up. He kept calling me as if I wasn't going to pay. He texted and asked me to bring cash this time. It was so weird from his normal behavior. I came and pay with my card. After leaving the next day I needed my tablet for a zoom meeting. I went back in my car to get my tablet and laptop and they were both missing. I knew it was in my car because I used them at work and home. It didn't cross my mind that those people would steal my items even though I've bought food for them. I trusted them and they stole my laptop and tablet. After noticing this, I called Kenny and told him what happened. He has cameras on his lot. He told me to come over and review the footage. I got there and waited over an hour. The shop was about to close and he took me to the back where the cameras are. I work in security so I know how to work the cameras. I asked him just show me how to playback and I'll review it myself. He said no, wait for me. He started to play the camera but won't go back to the days my vehicle were on their lot. He kept clicking on different camera view which was live.. He never review any footage with me. He told me that it didn't happened there and I should trust him. I took my car to GM and they told me it was my oxygen sensor. Which appeared 4 times on the diagnostic report but I guess that was too easy and cheap for him to fix. I got the report from GM and took my car to a retired mechanic who works at my job. He ended up fixing my car and told me my spark plugs that Kenny replaced were bad. He also said my tires were not balanced after I replaced all 4. I paid $270.00 in total for parts and labor to that man and my car was no longer shaking. I paid Kenny almost 2,000 to fix a 270 dollar problem. Let's be clear, I never thought it was them who stole my items. I initially thought they left my car open overnight and someone took it but after Kenny couldn't review that footage, I knew it was one of them. Now, I could had called the cops, make a report and force him to review the footage to the police department and catch them but I left it alone because I believe in karma. Kenny, you said you're a man of God so I left you and old soldier to God. Those items can be replaced and were old and cheap. What hurt me was the absolute trust I put in you guys.

Just don't. my car is running worse than it did before bringing it in. I don't want to write a book but you've been warned choose them at your own risk.

Brought my car in to get a fuel pump fixed. Got it back and now I'm having more issues with the car than what I've had before I brought it to this place. I don't recommend going here to get anything fixed on your vehicle.

I went here for an oil change that ended up becoming a transmission flush because the unmonitored new hire (2 mos on the job) had accidentally put motor oil in my transmission. Kenny tried to tell me that the noise I was hearing when they had completed the change was "fine" when there was no noise when I came in. I put it into gear to drive away and I felt a strong slip. Thankfully I never left the lot. Kenny did the flush at no charge (of course). Gained a star back because they owned it.
