No police car in front of the store so I decided to go in because this is a good sign. Inside as you all know in the winter it's gonna be a little bit dirty here and there. However I was impressed by some new stuff they have. Just look at my pictures and you know what I'm talking about. Overall good experience I was greeted to come again and after paying which is really very nice. Things were smartly placed and there was no waste of space. The shelves were full. The pool of customers was diversified and multi ethnic and they even had a person on the wheelchair checking things for people leaving. I was impressed to see a blanket with the picture of Virgin Mary on display for sale which means Walmart in this area still inclusive of religion. Good job Walmart and stay inclusive please.

WOW. If I could give this place a zero I would. Total craphole and the staff is not helpful. Please revamp your stores, I feel like I am in the twilight zone walking in here.

Terrible customer service in electronics. We waiting for someone and when someone finally arrived in a bad mood saying " you could of gone to the front " someone else came to help us and she was just a body with no answers . Not going back .

So rude, I couldn't believe it.. never cashing my check here again. Andover Wal-Mart for me for now on. They should be ashamed. I've worked costumer service for 5 years and never dreamed of catching that kind of attitude towards a customer.

I go here because it's close but wish I didn't have to they don't have much at this Walmart and its kind of run down and dirty and a lot of homeless people hanging around I do try to help them as much as I can and it's hard to get any help in the store as well but it is what it is...

I wish I didn't have to go to this Walmart but it is the closest store of this nature to my home. I have yet to have a positive experience here. Today I took my daughter to this location and we waited at customer service twice only to have to leave once again due to the line. When I asked to speak to a manager they told me they didn't know where he was. When I finally was able to express my concerns to a manager I was met with very little response. I don't think anyone wants to spend their evening at Walmart but with how much of a disaster this place is, that is typically the place. Open more lanes and have more than one person working at customer service when the lines are long.

This location is always crowded, with aisles that are narrow and traffic jammed. Add to that a constant lack of cashiers and self-checkouts that are often problematic and it's faster and less hassle to go elsewhere by far. Today was the last straw as I did self-checkout (which I am fast and efficient with) and the door monitor, who was within observable distance from where I checked out hassled me about receipts. BOTH were clearly visible and I didn't have many items, but she took her sweet 'ol time looking them over. HELLO, I was watched by about 10 people checking out as well as the self-checkout monitor. I emptied the top and bottom of the cart clearly. Was it simply not believable that you might have a customer who knows how to use a check out and can do so quickly? Am I being profiled simply because you're so unused to a smart person shopping there?? I will go to a different super store from now on.

This is the most ghetto Walmart ever. Always super dirty and unorganized, and the coolers smell of spoiled milk. There are usually some pretty shady-looking people shopping here, especially at night.

DO NOT GO HERE. I've never been to a store of any kind that was so awful. Most the time I can ignore the issues and get my items, but today was the last straw. The lady at the register took 15 minutes to ring up four items on the lady in front of me. The employee would put one item in a bag, walk around the back rack, take the bag off, load up an entire rack of new bags, open one bag, then go back around the bag rack and ring up the next item. I am more than willing to drive to any of the other Wal-Mart's that are further away, such as Andover, even though this Wal-Mart is only 2 miles from me.

Every time I walk into this disgusting Walmart I have nothing but horrible customer service. The only reason I ever go to this location is it is close to work.. I went to the photo department n they had 1 person working she was not at the counter I approached her n asked if she was working in photo. I got a rude comment I'm on the phone with some n I have someone else to help I will get to you when I can laughed me off and walked away. While i stand here waiting for her to return I see others in the department electronics where she left to go that are just standing there not assisting. Now there is another individual standing behind me waiting as well. We are at 10 minutes so far waiting. After she finally realized I was still standing there she came to help n was nice at that time.

I only have a 3 star because the guy I spoke to was very nice. I originally called about a ps3 controller and the guy told me that he only has 1 available and I asked him to put it on hold for me and he sounded like a douche! Like omg really? I told him I'll be there in about 30 minutes and when I got there they didn't know anything about it. But the guy who took over the shift showed me the controller and told me he didn't receive any message about me picking up the controller and that he just started his shift. Do I wish that whoever you are that took my call will work at Wal-Mart forever because you don't have any good qualities to you to work anywhere else!

This Walmart has become "the bad Walmart" in the area. Nobody wants to go here unless they absolutely can't make it to one of the other Walmart stores. The parking lot is terrifying. Cars come speeding around at break neck speeds and pedestrians will walk right in front of moving cars as though they have a death wish. Questionable looking people wait for the city bus or other rides out front while others rifle through the cigarette butt cans looking for something to smoke. One man frequently digs through all the garbage bins in the area searching for aluminum cans. The employees are okay. Sometimes helpful and polite, sometimes not. I understand that. I don't think I'd ever be in a good mood working in this crap hole. The customer service desk is a total nightmare. They're understaffed and the line of people often snakes around toward the bathrooms. The money order machine has been broken for well over a year. They remodeled their grocery area and it now offers a bit more selection. If you can fit your cart down its aisles, anyway. It's a dirty, dingy, worn out store. Andover just built a nice one. Go there instead!

If you want to feel better about yourself, take a visit to this Coon Rapids Wal-Mart. I am a Target loyal person however will visit Wal-Mart for certain things that Target doesn't have such as car care products or sporting goods. I even prefer the Brooklyn Park Wal-Mart over this one. The people here overall are rude, gross and simply not pleasant. This store is usually busy, unorganized and dirty. Even know the outside was remodeled, the inside remains pretty rough. It's usually busy with a longer wait time than most other stores. Keep on driving past this one, there are much better places to shop.

I honestly don't even know how this location is still open. It is all around nasty - from the people to the store itself. The employees are rude, they don't know where anything is, and aren't knowledgeable about anything in the store. The store is dirty, most coolers smell like mold. I wouldn't feel safe letting a woman or child be 5 feet from me after 5pm at this store. Groups of thugs like to hang out and look for trouble, fights, etc.. They don't get kicked out for it either. One night, there were a group of them blocking the exit doors, and shoulder bumping people as they [tried to] walk out. I've even seen one walking through here with a boombox on his shoulder, rapping, using crazy amounts of profanity. Very glad the new Super Walmart opened in Andover - I just hope the thugs stay at this (Coon Rapids) location and don't migrate over.
